The sleeping accommodation is flexible and comprises a master bedroom with a double bed which can be separated to single beds if desired to accommodate friends. The bedroom enjoys floor to ceiling glass doors which allow for plenty of light and feature views of the park and mountain tops. The doors lead out onto a second private balcony where morning sun can be enjoyed and the atmosphere of the beautiful parkland can be enjoyed.
Additional guests can be accommodated on the double sized sofa bed to the living room and a spacious bathroom comprising two rooms with a wash basin and a bath with overhead shower, WC and bidet also feature in the property and complete the self-catering accommodation.

The main Palazzo building offers a wide range of facilities from its main reception with visitor information, its onsite laundry, hair salon and computer shop. Guests can also enjoy a coffee on the lake view terrace of the Panama bar or dine at the authentic onsite Italian restaurant. On-site parking is also provided.
The holiday village features a wide range of activities with its splendid outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, sandy beach and bicycle track which meanders through the leafy lakefront parkland. A children’s’ play area and mini golf also provide extra fun for younger guests, and a Water park is situated just 500m away from Porto Letizia also.
The Lombardy / Lake Como Area region
Lake Lugano Area:
The Italian Lakes are a little slice of paradise. Elegant ribbons of blue water stretch out ahead, folded into the sun-baked foothills, with a spectacular back drop of the snow-capped Alps.
Warming, inspiring and graced with natural beauty, the lakes are still a place to draw breath and wonder. Lake Lugano, oriented north-south, ringed by characterful old villages often wedged onto narrow beaches between rugged cliffs and water.
Those classic lake images of flower strewn balconies, Baroque gardens and splendid waterside villas can be found here in abundance. Dotted around and between the lakes are some of Italy's finest art cities, such as Milan, Verona & Bergamo.
The Porlezza area
Porlezza is just over the mountain from Menaggio on Lake Como and on the scenic route to Lugano. Porlezza is the main town at this end of the Lake and adds an Italian flavour to a well known Swiss name!
The vibrant town of Porlezza is situated long the north eastern shore of Lake Lugano and provides guests with a pretty cafe lined lakefront with promenade, a wide choice of shops and supermarkets and a regular bus service to Lugano city and Menaggio.
The property's location in Porlezza make it ideal for guests wanting explore the surrounding Lakes, with Lugano on the doorstep, the nature reserve of Lago di Piano a 15 minutes drive away and the breathtaking Lake Como just a 20 minutes drive away.
Local activities include swimming, hiking, cycling, horse riding, boat hire, golf, tennis, quad biking and sailing. The cosmopolitan delights of Lugano city are just a 25 minutes drive away and here guests can experience the designer shopping, modern casinos, nightclubs, bars and restaurants.
Just above Porlezza is the village of Carlazzo which is close to the nature reserve surrounding Lake Piano and which has a rich and ancient history. With a castle of its own and medieval fortifications, this village was once well protected. As with most towns and villages around the lakes, they have a heritage steeped in religion. Churches and monuments abound and this region is no different. The Church of St. Giorgio in nearby Gottro, is well worth a visit just to see the Romanesque Bell Tower. Other churches to visit include St. Stefano which houses a famous organ made by the Serassi family in 1858. Serassi is one of the most famous families of organ builders in Italy and Europe and have been organ building art for six generations from 1720 to 1895 - their name is synonymous with quality, music, Lombardy and Porlezza!

Making a Booking:
To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
High Season Check-in Day:
In the high season months of July & August, arrival & departure days are on Saturdays only.
Each Porto Letizia property requires a compulsory final cleaning charge to be paid locally on departure. This final cleaning charge is dependent on the property type and it varies as follows:
Studio Apt: EU60
1 Bedroom Apt: EU70
2 Bedroom Apt: EU85
3 Bedroom Apt. or Villa: EU100
On arrival you can hire a baby-cot for EU20, a highchair for EU15 and an extra bed for EU85. If you bring a dog with you then this will cost an additional EU30. All these charges are not dependent on the length of your stay and are a one off payment, they are not included in the above mentioned rental prices.
Linen and towels are available for an optional cost of EU15 per person. Please note, if you choose not to accept this option, you will need to provide your own linen for the duration of your stay.
There is also an additional compulsory fee of EU4 per adult per night & EU2 per child (upto 16 years of age) per night when staying in Porto Letizia. This is inclusive of gas, electricity and water. Air-conditioning is also included between July and August in Palazzo apartments only. It also includes free on-site parking, concierge service, 24hr reception, swimming pool usage, beachside sun loungers (subject to availability), ping pong, on-site children's entertainment between 15th June – 15th Sept, cooking lessons, wine lessons, hiking excursions, 10% off boat hire, 10% off nearby tennis court, grocery delivery service by the local supermarket, Lido-beach entrance between 1st June - 30th September and much more (enquire on-site for details).
Starting from the 1st April until the end of September there is a local council tourist tax to be paid of EU1.50 per person per night for all persons above 14 years of age for a maximum of 10 days.
You will be asked to leave a EU300 deposit at the reception to cover accidental damages. If you accept the damage waiver at the time of booking you will not be asked for this deposit.
Internet is available for the majority of the complex at a 24 hours cost of EU10, a weekly cost of EU35 and a two weekly cost of EU55.Enquire now
