This comfortable villa for 6+1 persons is located in the place Kosinozici, 3,5 km away from Porec.

The house is newly built and furnished with modern furniture. Located on an own peace of land, the Villa Nina is a villa for 6 persons with in total 120 m². At the ground floor there's a completely equipped kitchen with ridge with freezer, stove, microwave, oven, filter-coffee machine, dishwasher, spacious dining-livingroom with table for 6 people, one big couch, Satellite TV , DVD Player, Hi-fi and a bathroom with shower/toilet. At the first floor there are three bedrooms, two with double beds and one bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower/toilet. The house offers Air-conditioning, central heating and Wi-Fi internet access.

To its guests the villa offers a private swimming pool, a spacious terrace and parking places for three cars. Private parking secured inside property. The swimming pool and the garden are maintained once a week.

Cot and bikes are available on your request. Smoking is not permitted inside the house but only outside. Cash box is available for your valuables. Visitors of Villa Nina will need a car as the village is not accessible by public transport. Minimum period of rental in July and August is 7 days. Turnover day is Saturday.

The area has many hiking and biking trails, wine trails and Porec offers many sporting activities at sea. Grocery is at a distance of 3,5 km, restaurant at 3,5 km and the beach at 4,5 km.

Location: the westernmost County of the Republic of Croatia, the largest peninsula of the Adriatic

Area: 2.820 Km2 (Dragonja, Cape Kamenjak, Ucka)

Coast length: 445,1 km (well-indented coast is twice as long as the road one) The western coast of Istria is 242,5 km long, with islands 327,5 km (178,1 M). The eastern coast of Istria is 202,6 km long, with the pertaining islets 212,4 km (114,5 M)

The westernmost point is Savudrija, while the southernmost point is near Premantura (Kamenjak).

Vegetation

Istria is the largest green oasis of the North Adriatic. The coast and the islands are covered with pine woods and easily recognizable green macchia. The main specimens of macchia are holm oak and strawberry trees. 35% Istria is covered with forests.

Climate

Average amount of sunshine: 2.388 hours. Owing to the day's length and plenty of clear days throughout the summer it has the longest insolation with a daily average of 10 hours in Istrian seaside resorts. Characteristic winds are "bura" (wind blowing from the north to the south, bringing clear weather), "jugo" (south, warm wind bringing rain) and "maestral" (summer breeze blowing from the land to the sea) .

Sea

the lowest sea temperature is in March ranging from 9.3 C up to 11.1 C and being the highest in August when it reaches 23.3 C and 24.1 C; salinity amounts approximately to 36 - 38 pro mille.

Soil – The soil is predominantly formed of limestone, with a lack of water due to the typical karst topography. The highest point is Vojak, at 1.401 meters above sea level on the U?ka Mountain. There is the so- called "white", "black" and "red" Istria. White Istria is around the peaks, green Istria is a fertile land in Istria's interior, while red Istria is near the coast.

Caving - Istria is an interesting territory with more than two thousand caves, caverns, chasms and abysses. The best known are the Rašpor abyss, the Kobiljak Pit,the Bregi Pit, the Pazin Pit, the Baredine Cave, the Romualdo Cave, the Pincin Cave, the Feštinsko Kraljevstvo Caves, the Mramornica Cave, the Laganiši Cave and the Mark Cave.

Rivers: Mirna, Dragonja and Rasa

Nature reserves - Brijuni National Park and Nature Park U?ka are legally protected areas. Other interesting places are Lim, the woods near Motovun, Zlatni Rt, the forest of Šijana in the vicinity of the town, the protected area of Kamenjak on the southernmost point of the peninsula and the Palud Reserve (ornithology) near Rovinj. The Brijuni archipelago is an interesting destination with a plant habitat of about 680 plant species.

Currency: national currency is Croatian Kuna(Kn). There are banknotes of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 Kunas and coins of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 Lipas in circulation (100 lipas = 1 Kuna) The money can be exchanged in official exchange offices (banks, post offices, hotels, tourist agencies) according to the current exchange rates. Porec

Villa Nina is located in the place Kosinožici, just 3,5 km away from Porec.

Porec is town in Istria, located on the western coast of Istria. Town Porec is old about 2000 years. It is well protected by the small island St. Nikolas. It is close to Italy so many tourists from Italy choose it as its holiday choice. Porec is well connected by the roads, so it is easy to access it.

Population of Porec is about 10500, but the whole Porec district has about 20000 inhabitants. Porec region covers about 137 m2, and seaside is long 37 kilometers.

Climate is very mild, without summer swelters as moisture is low. The hottest month in a year is August, with an average temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, and the coldest month is January with an average temperature of 5 degrees Celsius. The town has more than 3850 sunny hours in a year, which means that during the summer there is about 10 sunny hours per day on the average. Temperature of the sea during summer could be even 28 degrees Celsius. During the winter often blows bura, a cold wind from the north, which brings sunny whether and coldness.

Porec has history in tourism from 19th century. The oldest hotel in Porec was built in the year 1910, and after that was built numerous hotels which are there today. Also, Porec has new hotels with very good quality of service. As tourism is main branch in Porec, most residents rents their apartments, so it is very good offer of accommodation. Hotels, camps, marines, private accommodation, all can be found in Porec. It is possible to play many sports in Porec, even in town or at the beach. Outside summer season, Porec is destination for weekend tourism.

In Porec tourist can see many sights. Some of them are Church of our Lady of Angels, Euphrasian Basilica, few Gothic palaces and old houses from time of Roman, just like many other very interesting sights which dates from historical time.
