The Apartment is one of a very small complex of 3. There are two very spacious double bedrooms (one with an en-suite toilet), a large separate bathroom with shower, a fully fitted and equipped kitchen (gas/electric hob, electric oven, large fridge freezer) and a lounge with a large single sofa bed which could be used for 5th person if required. The apartment has a two sided terrace area overlooking a private garden. The terrace offers enough space for the large table and chairs as well as a separate sunbathing area. A fixed brick barbeque is located on the terrace. The gardens are surrounded by mature hedges offering peace and quiet. There are no properties to the immediate rear and fields open up to one side.

The Istria region
Porec This is the most popular holiday resort in Istria and has frequently been proclaimed the top resort in Croatia by the Croatian National Tourist Office. There are over 100,000 beds available in the area, but hotels and other facilities are widely spread so the place never feels too crowded.
Antonci, Porec is central on the Istrian Peninsula and is only a short drive from other popular coastal towns of Rovinj, Novigrad, Vsrar and Pula. This makes it an idyllic setting for either a peaceful retreat or a base to explore the surrounding area and the many activities available nearby such as horse riding, cycling, water sports and walking, to name but a few.
Porec area
A visit to the old town (Porec is 2,000 years old) is a must, due to its numerous historical sites, particularly the 6th century Euphrasian Basilica which is wonderfully preserved and is well known for its beautiful gold mosaics. The entry to the church is free, although a small donation is much appreciated. The main tourist areas are two bays south of the town, called Zelena (Green) and Plava (Blue) Laguna (lagoon). How to get there
Porec is 30 minutes drive from Pula flights with Thompson and 1st Choice), it is less than 2 hours drive from Trieste and 3 hours drive from Venice (Marco Polo or Treviso) all budget flights fly to these destinations on different days of the week so it is really flexible to when you want to travel. Car hire is easy to organise from the UK and the vehicle can be collected from the airport. When you book the car please advise that you wish to travel into Croatia.

The first bedroom has the benefit of wardrobes, bedside tables, a mirror and an en suite with toilet and wash basin. The 2nd bedroom has wardrobes, bedside tables and has large patio windows which open out onto the large terrace.
The small en suite bathroom is attached to the first bedroom. The main bathroom is tiled throughout and has a shower, toilet, wash basin and bidet
The accommodation is not remote - it is quiet and about 5-10 mins drive from the bustling centre of Porec, the terrace is private and the garden is only accessible by this apartment. It is an ideal base for those who wish to have a quiet get away or for those who want a good base to have the best of both worlds and be able to get out and about a explore without being too rural.
