About the home

A perfect choice for small families or groups looking to stay in the wonderful area of Poole. This waterfront house has one double bedroom with a double bed, one double bedroom with twin beds and a double sofa bed is offered in the lounge. A travel cot is also available upon request. There is a lounge, kitchen/diner, family bathroom with shower over the bath, private front and rear garden and off road parking for one vehicle. The views from the lounge and the front bedroom are stunning and it is just a short walk to the quay and town. Well behaved dogs are welcome and there are lots of wonderful walks for you take them on. The property is well equipped with crablines, cricket sets and games, so ideal for family holidays in this wonderful location.

Conditions

We would require a non refundable deposit of £250 to secure a booking and the balance would be invoiced to our guests 8 weeks prior to their stay.

We always provide receipts for all payments made.

We will require a £100 damage/deposit payment which is refunded within 7 days of a satisfactory checkout.

This is a wonderful area to visit as there are so many things to see and do and there is something for everyone.
The coastline is beautiful and offers many different kinds of watersports, there is a Zoo, Monkey World and theme parks for the children, a motor museum for all to enjoy and wonderful castles to explore.
The New Forest offers cycling and walking opportunities and wonderful chocolate box villages to enjoy.

The Poole area

Poole is a wonderful place to visit and is the ideal choice for families as it offers a variety of entertainmemt.
There are the 7 miles of beautiful sandy beaches, the old Poole Quay and Town, the new town with its array of independent and high street shops. Entertainment in the evenings on the Quay with a firework display during the summer months, street entertainment, amusements, wonderful places to eat, drink and enjoy.

“Be warned!” This house is lovely and in a fantastic location. We stayed there in 2012 for a long weekend with no problems at all so we booked for a week at the beginning of April this year. The house was very nice as before but we were then refused our deposit back because we had damaged the cooker and left the fridge dirty! We complained that we had done no such thing and indeed when the cleaner came at handover time, we were busy vacuuming. We had certainly NOT damaged the cooker. After complaining and asking if a friend in the area could go in to see the "damage" we were told there was in fact "NO DAMAGE" but the money was being kept for extra cleaning! £100 for cleaning that we did not feel we left at all. The place was left cleaner than it was after our previous stay! After much complaining we got back £80 of our £100. The written letter with the £80 said that this was due to extra cleaning required in the bathroom? The bathroom had not ever been mentioned up until that point!! We feel aggrieved that they have kept £20 for no real reason at all. To sum up, we were variously accused of leaving the cooker damaged to start with, then of leaving the cooker and fridge dirty, then of leaving the microwave dirty and in the final letter of leaving the bathroom dirty!! Which is it to be? How did the "damage" repair itself? Response: We would certainly agree that this house is lovely and is in a fantastic location. Unfortunately, we are unable to comment regarding the return of the damage/deposit payment as we did not take the booking from this guest and therefore, we did not receive the £100 damage/deposit payment. We are now the sole Agency responsible for the bookings and management of this property. We do ask for a refundable £100 damage/deposit payment at this property and others that we book/manage in Dorset and we have never had to withhold any monies back due to misuse or damage and we refund the amount within 5 days of the guests departure. This property has been a successful holiday home for many years and guests have happily booked to return again.
