The West Country / Dorset region
There are sandy beaches 15 minutes drive away at Sandbanks and Branksome Chine, while The New Forest is only 30 minutes away. Restaurants in Sandbanks offer top-class cuisine.
If you are looking for lively night-life, Bournemouth and Poole town centres are both a short drive away.
The Poole / Poole Quay area
There are several maritime activities that are available in Poole Quays, such as trips direct from the Quay to Brownsea Island, Sandbanks and beyond, and fishing trips at the Fisherman's Quay.
The Quayside is a great place to take a walk along the waterfront, stop for a drink or a meal in one of the many restaurants, wine bars, and pubs.
There is great shopping on the pedestrianised High Street, with many facilities and a large range of retail outlets.
Local Villages include Corfe Mullen (6 miles away), Kingston Lacey, and Wareham, an old medieval port.

We stayed in this apartment for two weeks in june 2012. We found it to be a large, spacious,well maintained and very clean apartment with a lovely comtemporary feel to it. It was very well equipped with a range of modern quality appliances.The views from every aspect were amazing with the whole of Poole harbour spread out in front of you, a great place for watching the coming and goings of all manner of fishing boats, yachts, ferries etc. Parking for two cars was available in a well secured car park. The whole experience was a stress free holiday, very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed. |
