"An oasis of peace and tranquillity in the Breton countryside"
We had a wonderful time staying at Les Archers!! We had just come from the bustle and exhausting excitement of Paris with our three kids (10, 13 and 15) and so were ready for a more relaxing location… More

"If you are into Archery this is a great place to be"
It's difficult to find archery holidays so were pleased to find Les Archers. The woodland field course is excellent and the garden targets great for some practise. The gite is absolutely fine to accommodate 6 people comfortably. It is very well equipped although the furnishings and equipment are rather basic and unfashionable. The owners, whose house adjoins the gite are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great and we found the gite to be quite cold, common in these type of properties with thick stone walls. We did find an electric convector heater which made things better. Two things we found rather odd; having the downstairs bathroom opening off the dining room and the upstairs shower cubicle with an opening which would not allow a larger than normal size person through it! There is no wifi access and the TV reception is poor. It's an attractive area with good eateries around.
Thank you for your response, much appreciated. In reply to your comments, the furnishings are comfortable, but also in keeping with an 18th century property we have oak wardrobes and chests of drawers etc...
The upstairs shower cubicle is a standard corner opening, usually adequate for most guests but the lower floor shower does have a wide opening door, suitable for all. The television reception is good for both French and British channels. Sometimes in high winds or adverse weather conditions the satellite dish can get disturbed causing a temporary loss of reception, which is easily rectified. It is always good to know if anything at all is wrong or guests are dissatisfied with, then we endeavour to do something about it.
