The Pinot Grigio apartment recalls the purplish grey grape which is considered a mutation from Pinot Nero. It results in a light golden yellow coloured wine with copper tones and a slightly bitter flavour, rather acidic and high in alcohol content. The grape’s grey colour is present in the furnishings. This attic apartment contains a double bedroom with bath, living/dining room with double sofa bed, another bath and a kitchen. On the loft above the bedroom there are two single beds. The apartment is situated on the first floor.
The Tuscany region
Tuscany is one of Italy’s best-loved regions. It combines a beautiful countryside reminiscent of the landscapes of Renaissance masterpieces, a rich artistic heritage including exquisite art and architecture, a glorious history, excellent wines and delicious food. Tuscany is also well known for its splendid landscapes with charming low hills covered with olive groves, vineyards, woods, isolated cypress trees, and beautiful old farmhouses. Tuscany is a refuge for the spirit as well as an ideal place for rambles or for idle contemplation of views that have not changed in centuries. Every town offers unique characteristics, charm, and regional cuisine making each one worthy of your time.
Vespa museum, better known officially as the MuseoPiaggio, can be found in Pontedera in Northwest Tuscany, a 20-minute drive and 15-minute short train ride from Pisa and some 35 minutes from Florence. Entrance is free!
Pontedera is a unique open air contemporary art gallery too: explore open-air displays by some of the world’s finest artists, enjoy fascinating exhibitions thanks to a year-round programme of contemporary exhibitions and events!
Pontedera is so easy to get to being at the centre of Tuscany’s road network and with international airports of Pisa and Florence. It is on the main rail and road route from Pisa to Florence. (It's about 15 km east of Pisa so a good stop-off on the way to Florence).
