The main house includes a large living room which opens onto the terrace and has a beamed ceiling and stone fireplace. Also on the ground floor there is a dining room, a fully fitted kitchen leading to a covered outside dining area, a utility room, cloakroom and double bedroom with en suite. Upstairs there are three further double bedrooms all with en suites. Two of the upstairs bedrooms have double beds (one king size, one queen size) and the third bedroom has two single beds.
The separate accomodation is accessed by a covered walkway from the main house and includes an open plan living/dining/kitchen, a bath/shower room and two double bedrooms (each with single beds which can be joined together to form a double bed) .The living room sofa can be converted to two single beds or a double bed.

The property has a secure covered garage and open parking, There are covered and open terraces some of which overlook the swimming pool area. The landscaped rear rear garden is not overlooked by neighbours and includes a lavender garden and grassed areas with numerous trees, including several olive and fig trees.
A number of facilities are available, including bycycles, golf clubs, tennis rackets, table tennis, petanque and darts.
The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Bouches-du-Rhone region
Pont Royal is located in the heart of Provence, offering easy access to all parts of Provence. Provence is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world, with its blend of sun-baked hilltop villages and glamorous resorts.There are many interesting market towns close to the Domain and the cities of Avignon, Aix-en-Provence and Marseilles are all within 40 mins drive Over a dozen excellent golf courses are within one hours drive.
Beautiful walks and cycle rides exist both on the domaine and also nearby. The top of the Luberon, the GR97 footpath, which crests it, with its outstanding views, and the Gorge du Regalon are only some 6 miles away. Silvacane Abbey (Cistercian), one of the ‘three sisters’ of Provence is only 5 miles away.
A separate charge is payable to Pierre et Vacances for the use of the communal, swimming pools. Tennis and basketball facilities whilst pony trekking and many other activities are available at additional cost. (Please note access to communal Pierre et Vacances pools may be restricted in July & August.)
The beaches of the Cote d’Azur, the Gorges du Verdon (Europe’s Grand Canyon), the Camargue, the vineyards of Chateauneuf du Pape and Gigondas, together with the Roman ruins in Orange, Arles, Nimes, Avignon and the Pont du Gard can all be visited in leisurely day trips.
Golf:
The villa is on one of the top golf Courses in France (rated 16/20 in the Peugeot Guide of Top 1000 Golf Courses in Europe), Seve Ballesteros designed.
Always immaculately maintained the Pont Royal course and location offers wonderful golfing throughout the year. The villa is only 5 mins walk to the driving range, clubhouse & 1st tee as well as bars and restaurants. Another 10 golf courses, mostly excellent, are within an hours drive through some of the most beautiful countryside in France.
The Pont Royal area
Pont Royal is a beautiful hilltop village located within a 450 acre private estate, surrounded by lakes. The Mediterranean coast can be reached within 45 minutes by car and to make the most of the region, a car is essential. Being on the doorstep to the French Rivera, the village benefits from a warm climate throughout spring and summer.
There are numerous villages and towns nearby with supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants, the nearest being 3km away. There are 5 restaurants within the Pont Royal estate and a further 7 in the surrounding area.

the activities
The village is dominated by the spectacular Pont Royal golf course. The 18-hole course was designed by Spanish golfer Severiano Ballesteros to please golfers of all levels and has stunning views of Luberon. The French Masters has been played at this course and it is said to be one of the top ten courses throughout the whole of France.
The resort has plenty for the children with a large swimming pool complex that boasts swimming pools, a wave pool, man-made beach, artificial rafting river, boating lake and children’s clubs. There will be something for everyone with other activities such as archery, boules, basketball, volleyball, aqua-gym sessions, table tennis, children’s entertainment and a small farm. If you fancy trying out a canoe, this can be done on the Durance river.
