Experience life on a working traditional Welsh family farm in the wonderful Cambrian mountains of Mid Wales. An original stone farm building transformed into open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area with electric oven/hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster. Exposed stone walls, original slate and solid oak flooring. Ground floor bedroom sleeps 2 with en-suite suitable for disabled wheelchair access, main bathroom with whirlpool bath on ground floor. Spacious first floor bedroom sleeps 4. Free wi-fi within cottage. The cottage is located 12 miles inland of Aberystwyth, 20 minutes drive offering the best of both coast and country. Great opportunities for walking in nearby Hafod and Devil's Bridge, bird watching and cycling from the doorstep. Fishing nearby on the Trisant lakes - peace and quiet away from the madding crowds. An ideal base to explore this little known area of Wales. The county of Ceredigion borders the sea to the west, which is also known fondly as Cardigan Bay. The coastal path offers walkers stunning views of the sea and inland green hills and mountains of quite spectacular diversity. Quaint market towns of Tregaron, Lampeter and Newcastle Emlyn and seaside towns and villages of Aberaeron, New Quay and Borth to explore.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Margaret (the owner) a message.

If Margaret (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
