This charming timber-framed cottage is perfect for a countryside retreat but with the benefit of many activities available locally.
The cottage is split onto two floors, with the ground floor featuring a fully-equipped kitchen, dining-room, sitting-room (large sofa, 4 arm-chairs, working fire-place (stove), TV and DVD, games and books), laundry with lavatory, 1 twin-bedded room with en suite shower.
The first floor has 2 twin-bedded rooms, bathroom with 2 basins and a separated lavatory.

The Normandy / Calvados region
The Pays-d'Auge is renowned for its production of cider and calvados. There are large distilleries but still plenty of small producers. Its climate is favourable to breeding of dairy-cattle and production of excellent cheeses like the camembert, Pont-l'Evèque and Livarot. You will discover all this products on numerous farmers markets as you drive around the region.
Many beaches at 25 km : Deauville, Trouville, Villers-sur-Mer....
Museums and historical sites : D-Day Landing beaches (from 50 to 100 km), Bayeux' famous tapestry (80 km) and William the Conqueror's (also called the "Bastard" !) history.
Beautiful castles and manors all over the Pays-d'Auge.
Painting museums : Honfleur, Caen....
Pont l'Eveque / St-Philbert-des-Champs area
Many towns and villages with typical timber-framed houses as Honfleur, Beaumont-en-Auge, Beuvron.... More "Jet-Set" towns as Deauville and Trouville (casinos).
Music-festivals in beautiful places like castles and haras.
An amazing zoo at 3' away where animals are housed in large outdoor enclosures. Sometimes, we can even hear the lion's roar....
