Les Roses Tremieres (The Hollyhocks) is situated in the exclusive hamlet of Chez Pequin five minutes from the historical medieval market town of Pons. This house offers four bedrooms, three doubles and one twin, all beds are individually styled wooden beds with great mattresses. There are two shower rooms, one with a bath as well. Two separate WCs. The good sized kitchen is well equipped. The large lounge has a raised dining area within, there's also a breakfast table in the kitchen.
The garden is large, private, secure and has a luxury FIVE SEAT JACUZZI complete with underwater night lights and Kenwood HI-FI. There is also the usual garden furniture and BBQ along with private parking for up to four cars.

The Poitou-Charentes / Vendee / Charente Maritime region
The Charente-Maritime is France's second most temperate region, The grapes for the world famous Cognac are grown all around the area including in Chez Pequin. The weather is generally good from Spring through to Autumn, the grass is green so we do get some rain.
The Romans were here and the historical evidence is here to see. The area abounds with its history from invasions over the years by the British, Romans, Germans and many more.
In your holiday stay you coul visit a different beach a day for a month, a there are enough interesting towns, islands, a zoo, museums to keep you going for another few weeks. Lots to see and do!
Pons / Chez Pequin area
A short walk from the house is Chateau d'Enimes, a family/children's adventure Chateau, well worth a look! Pons with it's Medieval Dungeon is fascinating, well worth a look! Cognac with it's living museums trips, visits and tastings is "well worth a visit!"
How to get there
Various budget and standard airlines fly to airports close by. La Rochelle is serviced by Easyjet, Fly-be, Ryanair, Jet2. Bordeaux is serviced by Easyjet, BMI Baby, British Airways. Both of these airports are within an hours drive. Angouleme is also an hours drive with flights from Stansted only by Ryanair. Poitiers, Bergerac and Limoges are all about two hours drive and have flights from various budget airlines already listed. UK flights originate from most airports including (Nth to Sth) Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, Manchester, Leeds, East Midlands, Birmingham, Bristol, Luton, Stansted, Gatwick, Bournemouth, Exeter and others. Ask us for more details. Ferries are also very accessable with Calais and the Northern ports only 520 miles away and St Malo, Roscoff less than half that distance. Cherbourg, Caen, Le Havre, Dieppe all sit somewhere in between. All of the above are easily driven in a day.

Further details indoors: All gas, electricity, water (and wood for low and mid season lets) as well as weekly linen and towels are included in the price you pay. LRT is 186 metres square, classy and great value for families to enjoy a rural beach holiday. The town of Pons (pronounced pong) is nearby and offers all amenities including three supermarkets, banks, restaurants etc. The owners live locally but not close enough to encroach on your holiday, near enough if needed.
Further details outdoors: The jacuzzi has a temperature range of 18 to 40 degrees centigrade and you control the temperature, it is great winter or summer! The jacuzzi seats five people and is hygene checked weekly to ensure all the correct bacteria balances.
Conditions
A small deposit secures your booking with the balance paid six weeks before you arrive, a small security deposit is requested/collected on arrival and returned on departure.
