Bursting with charm and character, the house has beautiful gardens with pretty flowers and courtyards, and The lovely sandy beaches of Royan and St Georges de Didonne are only 30 mins away.
For those of you not tied to school holidays, come and visit us in springtime or autumn and benefit from some very special rates ( negotiable) All our prices include linen, towels, and welcome pack with excellent local produce and wine.

The Charente Maritime boasts the secound sunniest region on the Atlantic coast after the Cote D'Azur. The idyllic beaches of the south west coast and its Islands offer glorious golden sands for family bathing.
Pons / St Palais de Phiolin area
Saint Palais de Phiolin is only 30 minutes away from the famous beaches of Royan, St Georges de Didonne & Mescher. The ancient town of Saintes is 30 mins away with excellent shops and restaurants. The historic town of La Rochelle is an hour away with its popular harbour side restaurants, bars & lively entertainment is well worth a visit. The Gironde Estuary is a short drive away where you can sample the excellent local sea food harbour side restaurants.
Cognac and Jonzac are a short drive away, you can sample the delights of Cognacs famous distilleries such as Henessey & Martell. Or for the more energetic you can swim and exercise in the newly built leisure centre Les Antilles.
The famous La Palmyre zoo is along the coast open all year round, we have horse riding, karting, & quad biking 5 minutes away.
Each cottage has tourist information for the Charente Maritime on things to see and do, suggested restaurants and a full house book are there to help you get the best of your stay.

To the side of the house is the driveway for private off road parking and at the back of the house is a private patio area with BBQ, garden furniture & parasol. We have a larger main garden which is shared with our selves along with our beautiful 12x6 heated swimming pool.
