The North West Italy / Italian Riviera/Liguria region

From Villa Beatrice you can reach by foot all the necessary facilities for your daily life; so you can find in Pompeiana a grocer, baker, pharmacy and 2 small restaurants.
The area offers a lot of leisure opportunities all year round; it is a paradise for those who love the mountains and the sea. You have the possibility for playing golf (Castellaro, San Remo) swimming, diving, sailing (Marina degli Aregai in St.Stefano, 3km distance), horse riding in Pompeiana, playing tennis (Pompeiana), mountain biking and walking.
There is also the chance to have language courses in San Remo (15 min.by car).

Further details indoors: In the first floor Villa Beatrice has two sleeping rooms (with spacious wardrobes), one of it with sea view and marble bathroom, one with direct access to the small pool and en suite marble bathroom. (This bathroom has a cupola of 5m height and was a chapel in former times).
In the second floor you find the living room with open fire place, (sea view), the dining room with fantastic sea view, the very well equipped Bulthaup kitchen with granite, - also sea view - and the roofed terrace room with open fire place that allows also in winter al fresco dining.
Villa Beatrice is very luxurious for 2 - 4 persons, but if you want there is another very comfortable possibility for 1 sofa bed and 1 single bed in the very spacious living room (you can use it as third bedroom )
On the ground floor there is an extra room with washing machine, clothes dryer and iron.
Further details outdoors: Villa Beatrice has several sunny terraces with fantastic sea views.
One on top of the house with 360° view on the Mediterranean Sea and the hills.
One in front of the living-rooms with a giardino pensile and lots of Mediterranean plants (Bougainvillea, Oleander, palms, lemon-trees etc.), and a patio with a small pool in front of one of the bedrooms.
If you have the chance - extend your personal summer and enjoy the exclusive atmosphere at the warm and sunny Riviera in spring or in autumn.

August 2009 Dear Rose, ..... the best part of our holidays was our stay in your house. It was lovely! - and such a wonderful view! We really enjoyed it and could stay "at home" the whole day just relaxing on the terrace with some books and the pool when we wanted to cool down. The boys didn't even want to go to the beach, they wanted to stay "at home". We really loved it and I KNOW we would like to come back! I would recommend it to anyone with no doubt that they would have a lovely stay.
