Offering an outdoor pool, B&B Il Fauno is just one kilometre from the Pompeii archaeological site. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a free internet point.
Rooms at the Fauno all have a balcony with views over the garden and towards Mount Vesuvius, they include a private bathroom.
Guests can relax in the small, furnished garden which has a children's play area. The outdoor pool features a large sunbathing area with sun beds. Bikes can be rented on-site.
Il Fauno has agreements with local restaurants and can provide gluten-free breakfasts on request.
The Circumvesuviana Station Scafati, which links to Pompeii,Naples and Sorrento, is only 600 metres away, and the property provides a free scheduled shuttle service. Parking is free on site.
The B&B offers accommodation in 4 bedrooms (max. 12 people):
-Two (2) Double rooms, consisting of a double bed (or 2 single beds on request)each for up to 2 persons;
- One (1) triple room consists of a double bed + extra bed for up to 3 people;
- One (1) apartment of 40 square meters consisting of two double beds + extra bed for up to 5 people.
Children under 3 years stay free in parents' bed.
The rooms are furnished with essential style, served by private bathrooms (with hairdryer, mirrors, courtesy kit, linens and towels) and are provided with air conditioning, heating, mini-fridge, LCD TV 26” with DVD, safety deposit box, wireless internet connection, soundproof doors.
The Pompei Il Fauno has agreements with local restaurants and can provide gluten-free breakfasts on request. (B&B associated AIC - Italian Celiac Association).

How to reach us:
BY CAR
When using your GPS Navigation system, please select the address: Via Domenico Catalano, town: Scafati, (Salerno).

Coming from Nord Italy, Rome or Sud Italy with highway, go on and take the A3 highway (also called Napoli-Salerno). Exit at Pompei Est-Scafati (not Pompei Ovest), emerging from the exit, turn right and continue for 250 meters towards Scafati Center, then turn the first left (Via Buccino) onto Via Martiri of Hungary after 150 meters turn right pass the overpass and turn left continue along Via Capone at the end of the road turn right and proceed for 400 meters, at one point there's a roundabout, continue for another 50 meters (find us on your right before the Stadium of Scafati).
BY TRAIN
Arriving at the station of Naples “Piazza Garibaldi”, take in the same station the train of Circumvesuviana direction Poggiomarino and get off in Scafati station. For times oftrains Circuvesuviana : http://www.vesuviana.it/web/en
If you are coming from Sorrento with train of Circumvesuviana, you have to change train at Torre Annunziata-Oplonti , take the train direction Poggiomarino and get off at Scafati.
From Pompeii don't take a Taxi (very expensive). Ask our transfer to 15 euro.

BY PLANE
From Naples Capodichino reach B & B Il Fauno:
- With a private taxi in about 15 minutes to get to Naples Central Station
- With the public service “Alibus” which runs every 30 minutes from the airport, came quickly to Central Station.
From the station “Piazza Garibaldi” just take the train of Circumvesuviana direction Poggiomarino and get off in Scafati station .
