Sunset Resort area covers over six football pitches (30,000m2).
There is a Spa treatment area in Sigma building that covers 1000m2 in area.
Underground tin pin bowling , pool tables and bar area.
Five main buildings Alpha, Beta Sigma,Delta and Eta. totals 770 holiday apartments varying from studios to presidential suites.
Each of the five main buildings on the site has their own unique architecture, making a very picturesque resort. The well planned spacial design gives it a relaxing feel, with landscaped areas in the extensive private grounds of tropical trees, flowers and grasses.
The leisure facilities include a lazy river that meanders its way through the heart of Sunset Resort with children's water slides, and a variety of swimming pools. There are also walkways leading to outdoor cafes ,cocktail bars.
Within some of the six luxurious individual boulevard buildings on the main promenade, additional bars and restaurants can be found. This is what makes it a class above any other resort on the Bulgarian coast.

In the main buildings themselves.. Alpha, Beta,Sigma, Delta,and Eta. There are restaurants to ranging from Italian to Asian. The largest is Sigma in the middle of the resort (11 floors high). There are six in total, ( try a different one each night ! )
The magnificent facade and the height of the main buildings herald the size and luxury of the lobbies in every main building and the superb choice of entertainment and cuisine. The high standard of the exterior continues into the internal common areas where the materials have been sourced from leading European producers of exceptional quality and considerable experience.

The apartments are available in each of the 5 main buildings of the resort...Alpha,Beta,Sigma, Delta, and Eta. Photo's of the interiors can be sent in most cases. The majority are supplied with the Gold or Silver furniture packs, supplied by the resort. The larger apartments, typically have washing machines included. In the living room area for 1 and 2 bedroom apartments there are sofa beds, that converts into a double beds that is suitable for one adult, or two children.

The apartment is air conditioned

Fitted Floor and wall units with shelves. Built in plunge sink with side plate stand. Built in oven with glass hot plates,air extractor,fridge-freezer,dishwasher,toaster,coffee maker, microwave,crockery and cutlery for 4.

Bathroom

All bathrooms are well proportioned, and finished to a luxury standard.The bathrooms typically consist of one shower , a bath with shower facility , single or twin wash basins set in marble surround fully tiled with toilet. Both shower facilicities are power showers , the shower head turns to give different effects.,hot towel rail,hot water tank.

Hall

Large wardrobe with iron and board,framed mirror,wall and ceiling lights,tiled floor.


Balcony

Chairs and table,terracotta tiles,power point.

The Black Sea Coast region

Old Pomorie is less than five minutes from Sunset Resort. It's land extends out into the sea to form a peninsula, and it's possible to stroll all the way round it. Old Pomorie is a traditional Bulgarian coastal town. It was similar in appearance to the historic towns of Nessebar and Sozopol up until the early part of this century when a huge fire destroyed the majority of its wooden houses. Although there are still some examples.

The Pomorie / Sunset Resort area

Go shopping in Bourgas 25 minutes away. It's the second largest coastal city in Bulgaria, and the fourth largest in total. Bourgas has open air cafe's and restaurants, quality shops, pedestrian streets, and an attractive and relaxing sea garden area that leads to Bourgas beach.

Sunset Resort is situated in New Pomorie, Old Pomorie is approximately 2km further down the road. Pomorie has a more relaxed ambiance than for instance Sunny Beach. It still has many tourists , but there is a more traditional feel about the town as there is still a high proportion of locals to tourists. Old Pomorie is an attractive area to walk through especially down its cobbled streets , and large promenade that follows the coastline towards Sunset Resort which is clearly visible in the distance. There is also a pier from which boat trips operate, also jet ski tours.....email me for more details.

In the heart of the town behind the well known St Georges Hotel , there is a square where many locals have their own stalls selling goods and crafts. There are many restaurants and places to eat and drink. In the summer months all the shops stay open until very late, and the place is "buzzing". Population of Pomorie is around 20,000 people, its a fully functioning community, whereas in comparison Sunny Beach virtually closes down out of season.
New Pomorie also has a good selection of shops,from fresh fruit and vegetables, bakeries, corner shops, cafes and restaurants. There is also a very pretty Old Monastery, which you are allowed to look around.
