About the home

Winwaloe has stunning views over the beach. The main house has 5 double bedrooms, 2 baths and a shower room, very large sun room with dining table for 14, sitting/ dining room, nursery and large very well equipped kitchen and utility room.

The attached self-contained annex has a downstairs double bedroom and bathroom and utility room. Upstairs there is a sitting room and kitchen, single bedroom and loo. There is wheelchair access to the main house and garden. The large garden, with sandpit and play house, leads to one of the best surfing beaches in the UK.

There are 3 golf courses nearby, National Trust cliff walks, tennis, sailing, water skiing, windsurfing etc. It is in easy reach of the Eden Project and many National Trust properties and gardens. The shops are 4 minutes walk from the house and the local restaurants are superb!

'the interior of the house is practical and easy to run. There are 2 dining tables in the main house one seating 14 and the other 10/12. The sun room is very spacious and there is a sitting room that seats 8/10, there is also a nursery with television and DVD. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, magimix, hot cupboard, dishwasher, deepfreeze etc. The utility room has 2 washing machines and an industrial size drier and drying rack. There is another washing machine and drier in the Granary.

There is a gas BBQ, separate boat house used as games room with table tennis and darts. There is a sandpit and play house for small children in the garden and plenty of buckets and spades. Also a few surf boards that may be borrowed.

Beautiful rugged coast line with stunning cliff walks. Huge beach below the house busy in the summer and deserted in the winter.

Excellent local shops 4mins walk across the beach. Surf school for children and adults.

The Polzeath / Cliff Lane area

“One of the most desirable holiday houses on the North coast of Cornwall” We have leased Winwaloe several times, ranging from Christmas (twice) to the middle of August. It is ideal for large family parties, or for groups of adults out of school holidays looking for golf, walking, or visiting the many attractions Cornwall has to offer. It is spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed. At its centre, the large main room has a stunning view to the west, across the mouth of the Camel estuary, and separate sitting and television rooms provide guests with a choice. The two-bedroom Granary is a linked but separate haven for grandparents or principal hosts. Superb beach, surfing, golf, cliff-top walking, restaurants and watersports are all within easy reach. A real joy of a place.
