Polzeath is a very popular holiday resort as it has a lot to offer the holiday maker. The house has large garden and patio with outside shower and storage for surfers.

Daymer Bay - Much loved by John Betjamin. Lovely sandy beach with its sand dunes on the Camel Estuary ,ideal for young families with its car park at the back of the beach .Suitable for wind and kite surfing. Short walk to St Enodoc Church
Rock - Sandy beach with sand dunes on the Camel Estuary . Excellent water sports ,sailing ,canoeing and water skiing
Padstow - very popular ,lively , picturesque fishing harbour made famous by Rick Stein and his restaurant and the May Day Obby Oss
Wadebridge -pretty market town on the River Camel with a wide variety of shops and supermarkets and amenities. Many interesting art galleries , pubs ,cafes, restaurants and cinema. The Camel Trail runs through the town along the River Camel from Padstow to Bodmin and cycles can be hired.
Port Isaac - pretty quaint fishing port made famous by television and film crews
Polzeath area
Polzeath is a very popular holiday resort as it has a lot to offer the holiday maker.There is a selection of very good restaurants ,cafes and lively pubs and various shops selling clothing, surfing equipment ,gifts and two small supermarkets selling speciality foods.,The golden sand and waves offer safe superb conditions for swimming and surfing and there are life guards on the beach throughout the summer and surf schools to have lessons and hire surf equipment. The beach with rock pools is loved by both the young and old.
There is a pathway to the beach and the village which is only 5 minutes walk
From the house you can follow the coastal footpath with its spectacular cliffs and coves from Polzeath to Pentire Head ,The Rumps,Lundy Bay ,Epphaven and Port Quin .You can walk to Daymer Bay within half an hour which is excellent for wind and kite surfing and then on to Rock for sailing and other watersports.You can visit St Enodoc Church made famous by John Betjamin. From Rock you can catch a ferry across the Camel Estuary to Padstow which is a busy picturesque harbour , famous for Rick Steins Sea Food Restaurant and Bistro and the May Day Obby Oss.
You can also visit Port Isaac and Boscastle quaint fishing villages,and Tintagel with its legends of King Arthur and his knights.Thre are some wonderful walks along the most rugged parts of the South West Coastal footpath.
There are several golf courses nearby,St Enodoc,St Kew, Bowood and Trevose,Lanhydrock plus the Roserrow Country Club wth its golf,fitness,beauty.swimming, tennis and restaurant facilities which is in walking distance of the house.
The Eden project and Heligan Gardens are under 40 miles away and there are many Cornish attractions eg National Trust properties within an hours drive of the house. It is very easy to reach most parts of Cornwall within a short drive of the house.The largest town nearby is the pretty market town of Wadebridge on the River Camel.There you can hire cycles and cycle along the Camel Trail following the river to Padstow and on to Bodmin Moor.
