The area has something to offer everyone from surfing , walking , cycling , golf , birdwatching to just relaxing on the beautiful sandy beaches

Discover Tintagel with King Arthurs Castle or drive over to the South Coast & visit the wonderful area The Eden Project.


Polzeath is a delightful small coastal town well known for it's stunning surfing beach & numerous cafes & restaurants , surf shops & well stocked grocery.

The are several surf schools for adults & children & Polzeath beach is patrolled in season.

Enjoy long coastal walks to Port Isaac & in the other direction Rock , where you can organise sailing , fishing trips & water-skiing , or take the foot ferry over to Padstow,

Padstow is a fishing harbour made famous by Rick Stein & is packed with places to eat or just relax & enjoy the views back over the Estuary to Rock.

A safe area to swim in ,& therefore suitable for families with younger children, located nearby is the beautiful Daymer Bay. YOu can spend hours here looking for crabs in the rock pools or playing rounders on the wide beach .

Dogs are allowed on this beach all year round & on Polzeath restrictions apply after Easter.

There are 2 superb golf courses called Roserrow & St Enedoc & the new Health Club , The Point , near St Minver.

Non members are welcome at ThePoint & it has great facilities , including tennis , a small pool, gym & exercise classes.

Why not drive into Wadebridge , which has some great new places to eat & one of the best coffee shops called The Picture & Coffee House.

There are plenty of cycle hire shops here to take advantage of the stunning scenery along The Camel Trail,to

Padstow or Bodmin.
