The Cornwall region
Treglyn Farm, where the cottages are situated, is in a perfect spot for exploring Cornwall. It is only minutes away from Wadebridge from where you can access the main holiday routes up and down the north coast. Even the south coast is easily accessible.
The milder climate in Cornwall makes it a perfect place for a holiday even in the cooler months. Walking and discovering places off the beaten track, in the Autumn and early Spring can be a lovely holiday. There are plenty of local pubs with a nice warm fire and a friendly welcome to relax in at the end of your day.
This part of North Cornwall has lots to offer people of all ages. Families with younger children will love the calm waters of Daymer Bay with its wealth of rock pools to explore. Polzeath has something for everyone, children, teenagers or grandparents. A great beach usually with plenty of waves for surfing, cliff top walks, shops and eateries. Rock with its sailing and wind surfing and Padstow, made famous by Rick Stein, a lovely fishing harbour, with plenty to see and do. There are 2 golf courses nearby, Roserrow and St Enedocs
Just along the coast, Tintagel, Boscastle and Port Isaac, (the setting for TVs Doc Martin) If you want to explore the south coast or visit the Eden Project you can pick up the main tourist routes just up the road at Wadebridge.

"Terrific cottage in great location"
Spacious & very comfortable cottage in a lovely quiet location although close enough to visit ALL the major attractions that Cornwall has to offer
The cottage overlooks a large lawn area suitable for children playing and for watching the rabbits in an evening. Level footpath and very short walk from car park.
Tip - take a torch as very dark at night (no street or path lights).

"Excellent location,tranquil, beautifully presented cottage"
The cottage is located within a small hamlet of what once appear to be a farm. The cottage is set in a horse show cottages and being on the end of the horse-shoe it has more outdoor space than the others.
On entering the cottage you are welcomed into a bright, clean, modern open plan style living space. Comfy sofas, sky TV, family dining table and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Upstairs are two lovely bedrooms with clean, crisp bedlinen and beautiful views. The bathroom is beautifully fitted and has a lovely heated towel rail.
Outside is communal garden area and picnic bench. Within the grounds are lovely walks through a copse.
All in all the set up is beautiful ,very tranquil.
The cottage is well located to see many of Cornwall's beautiful beaches within a short drive. Rock is only five minutes away and Port Isaac not much further.
We ate out every night as unfortunately the weather was not kind to us, we found some lovely restaurants. We went to Rick Steins for late lunch which was a lovely treat (good value at lunchtime- set menu and they cater for the kids)
Great holiday will DEFINITELY go back.
