Higher Shute is a traditional detached house full of character located in an elevated position above Polperro Village and harbour.

Internally, the spacious home has many traditional country features including open fire places and wooden beams, yet sits in the perfect position for beautiful sea views. Externally, the spacious terrace comes with ample seating and offers stunning panoramic views of Polperro Village, harbour and out to sea.

The village of Polperro squeezes down the valley to a small harbour. The village is famous for its seafood, where visitors can sit on the harbour and enjoy a fresh crab sandwich from one of the nearby cafes. There are great walks from the village to the nearby town of Looe via the five mile coastal footpath passing Talland Bay.

Although only small, Polperro has a number of authentic pubs and award winning restaurants. The village remains home to a thriving artistic community with a number of small galleries selling local work. The small sandy beach is protected from the winds and there is a famous natural swimming pool among the rocks that is revealed at low tide.

Whether you are in search of a romantic getaway in one of the prettiest villages in Cornwall or an action packed family day out at the Eden Project, Cornwall has it all and everything in between.

Polperro

The picturesque fishing town of Looe is situated on the spectacular South Cornwall Coast in a largely unspoilt area of the South West. The town comprises of two villages, East Looe and West Looe, which are divided by the waters of the River Looe Estuary. There is a wide range of restaurants and cafes, many of them on the quay, where you can sample the local fish and watch the sun go down over the river. Traditional Inns and cosy pubs are tucked away in the narrow streets and offer a relaxed atmosphere. Three miles to the West of Looe is the quaint fishing village of Polperro. The towns are characterised by their narrow cobbled streets, steeped in history and full of stories and legends of smugglers and fishing.

Sandwiched between the two towns are a collection of hidden coves and spectacular sandy beaches ideal for swimming, walking or just relaxing. The world famous Eden Project is in the neighbouring town of St. Austell and the historic city of Plymouth, with it's shops, sights and attractions, is within a short drive.
