About the home

In a tranquil street right in the old heart of this beautiful town, minutes from the Placa Major and in the Calvario. Smart dining, family friendly restaurants & deli's with everything you ever wanted on your doorstep. Rooftop views of the old town, nearby monastery, coast and mountains.

Recently refurnished. Large open plan sitting room with fireplace leading onto dining room where 12 are easily accommodated round a banquet size table. Six comfortable bedrooms & five bathrooms. Two kitchens, breakfast room, very attractive internal courtyard, further upstairs living room leading onto outside terrace. The rooftop swimming pool is 6x4m.

The roof top area surrounding the pool is on three levels with decking & there is a large outside dining area. Three bathrooms completely modernised. Chic hotel sunbeds.

Facilities

There are three large double rooms, two twin bedrooms & one single. The geography of the house lends itself to two or three families staying.

The double rooms are all some distance from each other, with other bedrooms nearby, so separate families can be fairly self contained.

The house is great for summer & winter holidays - all rooms have central heating & air con, there are two log fires. There is a Jacuzzi bath in the en-suite on the main bedroom.

Further details outdoors:
There are three separate outdoor terraces. The largest (big enough for impromptu kids football) has a big covered eating area, close to the the swimming pool.

There is a separate upstairs kitchen & fridge - in the summer you will spend a lot of time here as it gets sun all day long. Another terrace leads off the upstairs sitting room & is great for pre-dinner aperitifs & has great views.

Finally off the dining room is an enclosed terrace handy for al fresco breakfast.

Welcome packs, extra beds & cots can be arranged. We have an English speaking agent in the village who can deal with everything you require.

Conditions

30% deposit on booking, balance 8 weeks before travelling. £500 deposit added to final payment, returned within 2 weeks of departure from villa, less electricity & final clean charges incurred, if no loss or damage has occurred.

The Mallorca/Majorca region

Average daily maximum temperatures vary 14 to 29 degrees centigrade, these figures though disguise the fact that there is consistent year long sunshine, making it a desirable place to visit in all seasons.

The Pollensa area

Pollenca is a beautiful small medieval town, which dates from Roman times. Minutes from our house there is an original still in tact Roman bridge.

The main square dominated by a magnificent church is the focal point for all activity. At Easter over several days there are processions which come down the 365 steps of the Calvario form another church through the town.

In early August the Christian & Moors stage mock battles all through the teaming streets & every one parties. The town has its own golf course & is known for its gastronomy, restaurants of particular note are "Clivia" & "ll Giardino".

Monarch, BMI baby, easy jet, Thomson etc all fly cheaply to Mallorca, we always use http://www.goldcar.es/index.phpe for our car rental, they are cheap & they rarely have queues!

From Palma airport follow the signs for Inca, and then the motorway to Alcudia/Inca, turning off at the 40km turn for Pollenca, total journey time is about 45 minutes.
