A brand new, luxurious town-house located in the heart of Pollenca Old Town. This four-bedroomed property has been renovated with no expense spared, complete with modern furnishings throughout complimenting original brickwork.

A small terraced entrance doorway belies this fabulously large and spacious town house - completely renovated with a local stone façade. Outstanding interior decoration, a fusion of traditional mallorcan with contemporary comfort. Very central location with local restaurants, shops and the main square just a short walk away.

The front door from the road leads directly into the main lounge dining room which has open stone walls with extraordinary high iron beamed ceilings. It has full size glass arched doorways leading out to the pool terrace and the natural light floods in through these windows illuminating the interior which is unusual and a real bonus for a town house which are inclined to be darker.

The floors are tiled with gorgeous egyptian stone in a natural colour and there are bright white-painted walls contrasting with vibrant artwork. This house really has that "wow" factor!

There are comfortable sofas and a flat screen TV and a beautiful long solid wood dining table with striking high cane chairs.

The interior lounge however is really dominated by the amazing view of the outside patio and your gaze is drawn to the inviting pool and lovely decked sun terrace that has pretty pot plants and modern sunloungers, absolutely splendid, it's a real haven.

The kitchen is through a doorway from the lounge and is very special indeed, It has light wood cane-effect units and striking bright green silestone work sufaces with a central island and breakfast bar. It has stainless steel appliances, a split-level fitted oven and microwave and a large american side by side fridge-freezer.

There are floor-to-ceiling plate glass windows along one side looking out onto the lovely pool terrace.

A beautiful winding stone staircase with stainless steel handrails winds up to the 1st level, illuminated by up-lights against the stone walls.

On this first floor there are three sizeable twin bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms with lovely high beamed ceilings with lots of wardrobe space, one of the twins has a large outside terrace that overlooks the pool terrace below. The other two bedrooms overlook the road at the front of the house.

The bathrooms are a dream and are fitted out with state of the art fixtures and fittings.

The staircase leads to an upper level and here the whole floor is dedicated to a magnificent suite. There is a large lounge area with bright sofas and a flat screen tv and an high archway through to a sleeping area with a large double bed. Remote controls for the lights and TV. Low windows overlook the front of the house and large glass windows in the ensuite lounge illuminate the beautiful stone work .

A large ensuite bathroom with large rectangular bath and separate walk-in shower is decorated in vivid candy floss pink stucco contrasting brilliantly with the beige stone, here there are doors that open into a concealed dressing area.

All rooms have concealed modern radiators - centrally heated and air conditioning throughout.

There is a garage for clients use next to the house which is a fabulous bonus in the Old Town, the door from the garage leads directly into the house.

The Casa Horta De Pollenca is a beautiful town house with lots of character and charm, its perfect for friends and family wanting a property in the heart of the historic Old Town of Pollenca.

Pollensa

Pollença is a peaceful and tranquil town that remains very typically Spanish. It is four miles from the coast, nestling between two hills at the eastern end of the Tramuntana mountains. Pollença itself is indisputably pretty. Historic buildings with ochre roofs, sun-baked walls and wooden shutters line the narrow and twisting medieval streets. There are pastel-painted houses in the centre and Moorish water mills on the outskirts. It's also a haven of sleepy Mallorcan traditions - café life and the siesta roll on here as they always have. The heart of the old town is the central square, Plaça Major, where there are many café-bars and fine restaurants. Pollença also has lots of galleries of Mallorcan art and design, and a town museum. The most famous walk in Pollença is up the 365 steps of the tree-lined 'Calvario' - the Calvari Hill. There is a tiny church at the top with amazing views over the town and across wooded valleys to the sea.

Local knowledge

Taste: Pollensa old town boasts some of the best restaurants on the island. From traditional Mallorcan to international cuisine, each has its own blend of atmosphere and tradition.

Weekly Market: It's especially lively in Pollença on market day, every Sunday morning, with stalls selling fruit, flowers, local crafts, clothes and household goods.

Discover: Pollença is nestled between two hills. One of these hills is Puig de Maria with an 18th-century monastery perched on the summit - a walk to the top is well worth the effort for spectacular views over Pollença and down to the sea.

Supermarkets: Large SYP/ Eroski Centre situated just off the main Pollença to Puerto Pollença, plus two in the town centre.

Villaparade first discovered the unspoilt Pollença region twenty years ago and fell in love with the wonderful countryside all around - from the dramatic mountains to the lush valleys. Since then we're very proud to have built up a collection of some of the finest holiday villas and apartments in and around the area. Our principle resorts are the historic medieval town of Pollença and the sheltered sandy bay of Puerto Pollença which are detailed on the following pages.Other areas of the Pollenca region in which our villas are located are:

Cala San Vicente, another of the best-kept secrets in the North of Mallorca. It's a quiet and relaxed resort surrounded by mountains with pine-covered slopes that run down to the sea. The sparkling blue waters and the three sandy coves are very child-friendly. The spectacular countryside here is also ideal walking country, popular with ramblers and painters.

Bonaire is an exclusive residential area on the peninsula around the bay of Pollença towards Alcudia with a pretty marina called Puerto Cocodrilo and a lovely sandy beach called Mal Pas. Son Serra de Marina with its appealing marina and sandy beach is 8km from the larger resort of Ca'n Picafort which shares the same sweeping bay as Alcudia. Ca'n Picafort's lively but friendly and relaxed atmosphere is ideal for families and couples.

The regions of Pollença

ternelles valley: a lush green valley to the north of Pollença old town, and has a lane eventually running through to the ruined castle, Castell del Rei, high up in the mountains.

la font: an upmarket countryside residential area on the outskirts of Pollença old town within walking distance.
