Villa | 6 bedrooms | sleeps 12
A stylish and lovely house in some of the loveliest villa-gardens in Pollenca. Can Sabater is one of only a handful of 6-bedroomed houses so close to Pollenca Old Town with a gated driveway - it's in easy walking distance of Pollenca Old Town, and is even closer to restaurants and shops.
Inside, the house is really spacious and full of light. It's a classic town villa with white walls, terracotta-tiled floors, bright spotlighting and a clean and modern design. On the ground floor, off the entrance hallway, there's a long dining room with a large table and an antique dresser.
The kitchen is another wonderfully long room, with lots of storage space and work-surfaces, another table and chairs, and appliances including a dishwasher. French doors open out onto the pool-terrace and a fantastic covered barbecue-terrace - with a built-in barbecue, a bread-oven, double sinks and gas hobs.
There are two more rooms on the ground floor: a television lounge with sofas, Satellite TV and a DVD player and stereo; and a shower bathroom.
All the bedrooms at the villa are air-conditioned. Three of them are on the first floor - two twins and a double room. The twin rooms have lots of storage space in built-in wardrobes. The double is a really lovely room with doors out onto a wide balcony with spectacular mountain views. This double room also has a new en-suite bathroom. Here on the first floor there are also two further shower-bathrooms.
There are two more bedrooms on the second floor: a double room with built-in wardrobes and lovely views to the mountains, and a twin bedroom. The last bedroom is very special - it's an en-suite twin bedroom in the separate casita by the pool. This could be a romantic hideaway or a teenager's dream escape from the rest of the family!
The gardens are really colorful with plenty of space for families and large groups of friends to relax, swim, eat and play. There are sprawling lawns, a long and child-friendly swimming pool, covered seating areas and brilliant facilities for cooking and eating outside. There are lots of shady benches under tall palms, old olive trees too and poplars - and there's also a table-tennis table!
There is also a new waterfall feature in the swimming pool ensuring a peaceful oasis of calm and running water.
Can Sabater is a fantastic holiday retreat ideal for large groups and perfect for long lazy days in the gardens and pool. There's plenty of space inside and out for everyone to find somewhere to relax. It's also an easy 20-minute walk from here to Pollenca's Old Town - with all its restaurants, shops and historic sights. And it's even closer to Pollenca's supermarket. If you fancy a day at the beach, Puerto Pollenca is a just 5-minute drive away.

Pollença is a peaceful and tranquil town that remains very typically Spanish. It is four miles from the coast, nestling between two hills at the eastern end of the Tramuntana mountains. Pollença itself is indisputably pretty. Historic buildings with ochre roofs, sun-baked walls and wooden shutters line the narrow and twisting medieval streets. There are pastel-painted houses in the centre and Moorish water mills on the outskirts. It's also a haven of sleepy Mallorcan traditions - café life and the siesta roll on here as they always have. The heart of the old town is the central square, Plaça Major, where there are many café-bars and fine restaurants. Pollença also has lots of galleries of Mallorcan art and design, and a town museum. The most famous walk in Pollença is up the 365 steps of the tree-lined 'Calvario' - the Calvari Hill. There is a tiny church at the top with amazing views over the town and across wooded valleys to the sea.
Taste: Pollensa old town boasts some of the best restaurants on the island. From traditional Mallorcan to international cuisine, each has its own blend of atmosphere and tradition.
Weekly Market: It's especially lively in Pollença on market day, every Sunday morning, with stalls selling fruit, flowers, local crafts, clothes and household goods.
Discover: Pollença is nestled between two hills. One of these hills is Puig de Maria with an 18th-century monastery perched on the summit - a walk to the top is well worth the effort for spectacular views over Pollença and down to the sea.
Supermarkets: Large SYP/ Eroski Centre situated just off the main Pollença to Puerto Pollença, plus two in the town centre.
Villaparade first discovered the unspoilt Pollença region twenty years ago and fell in love with the wonderful countryside all around - from the dramatic mountains to the lush valleys. Since then we're very proud to have built up a collection of some of the finest holiday villas and apartments in and around the area. Our principle resorts are the historic medieval town of Pollença and the sheltered sandy bay of Puerto Pollença which are detailed on the following pages.Other areas of the Pollenca region in which our villas are located are:
Cala San Vicente, another of the best-kept secrets in the North of Mallorca. It's a quiet and relaxed resort surrounded by mountains with pine-covered slopes that run down to the sea. The sparkling blue waters and the three sandy coves are very child-friendly. The spectacular countryside here is also ideal walking country, popular with ramblers and painters.
Bonaire is an exclusive residential area on the peninsula around the bay of Pollença towards Alcudia with a pretty marina called Puerto Cocodrilo and a lovely sandy beach called Mal Pas. Son Serra de Marina with its appealing marina and sandy beach is 8km from the larger resort of Ca'n Picafort which shares the same sweeping bay as Alcudia. Ca'n Picafort's lively but friendly and relaxed atmosphere is ideal for families and couples.
