Furnished throughout to a good standard, all the rooms are spacious, light and airy and kept cool during the hot summer months by thick walls. On entering is the living/dining room with complimentary Wifi internet connection, Satellite TV with BBC 1,2,3,4, DVD player, feature fireplace and comfortable sofa seating area. The kitchen has dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, and electric oven and hob. The washing machine is housed in an external laundry room. Two attractive bedrooms, one double, (with private deposit box) and one twin share a newly refurbished walk in shower room. Upstairs is the master twin Bedroom with door to a terrace and full bath/shower room. All bedrooms have air conditioning.
Note: The air conditioning is on a timer for ten hours daily. If you wish to change the hours set please contact our local representative.Extra air conditioning MAY be available on request and is payable locally.

The pretty and well maintained gardens have spacious furnished sun terraces surrounding the 8m mosaic tiled swimming pool with Roman steps. The covered BBQ terrace overlooks the lawned area where there is plenty of room for children to play.
The Mallorca/Majorca region
Mallorca is the largest of the three main Balearic Islands and has been undergoing a wonderful revival over the last 25 years. The island has reestablished itself as a destination rich in culture and offers visitors a diverse choice of unspoilt beaches, bustling towns and breathtaking scenery. The tranquil inland areas have many beautiful areas with traditional old farmhouses carefully restored as holiday homes, ranging from contemporary villas to grand countryside retreats. These properties present the opportunity to enjoy the calming ambience of the island, with space for friends or families to experience a holiday at a property with its own grounds, swimming pool, and of course a high standard of accommodation. If its beaches you're after then the South side of the island can't be beaten; the heritage protected beach and salt lakes of Es Trenc could easily be mistaken for the Caribbean, and the bewildering array of smaller calas (beaches) along the coast line will leave any visitor to the island spoilt for choice. The cosmopolitan town of Santanyi with its bustling street markets, charming Cas Concos and conveniently located s'Horta each providing the basis for some of the finest villas on the island. In the North of the island, Pollenca, Campanet and Buger have the dramatic backdrop of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range, with its myriad of little villages nestling between its peaks. Great cuisine is never far away, with each village or town offering many interesting and unique restaurants serving local sourced ingredients. As the secrets of Mallorca are slowly unravelled, so its popularity increases.
The Pollensa area
Pollença is without doubt one of the most attractive municipalities of the Island. It was one of the areas where tourism first started, being the preferred destination of painters and artists since the beginning of the century. Pollença is full of contrasts because a large part of the "Serra de Tramuntana” is situated within its municipality. With its steep mountains and its deep valleys, which in many cases end in most beautiful and lonely bays, where the blue of the sea merges with the grey of the limestone rocks and the brilliant green of the pine trees. Here the cultural and artistic life never stops. There are many art galleries and beautiful handicraft shops. Throughout the year one can enjoy a variety of musical events, the most famous of which takes place in the Santo Domingo Cloister between July and September. Apart from the old town, the municipality of Pollença is also home to two coastal towns, the Port Of Pollença and Cala San Vicente.

This is not the best villa I have rented and would have benefited from Umbrellas round the pool and more chairs , but in saying that, it has three good sized bedrooms, with the master upstairs, a reasonable kitchen and lounge. The main thing about the villa is its location, main supermarket in the area only 5 minutes drive if that, the centre of Pollensa town easily walkable in 15 minutes or so, the coast and Puerto Pollensa about 15 minutes drive and in a quiet location. Would I book it again? probably yes, for a short week break to the area. |
