Further details indoors:
The entrance opens in to the spacious dining room with beamed ceilings with charm and character. To the right of the dining area we find the living room which is comfortably furnished and has Satellite TV, PlayStation 2 and DVD player. Two sets of patio doors open onto the side furnished terrace which affords all round mountain views, an ideal relaxing area overlooking the swimming pool. Here we also find the brick built BBQ. To the left of the front door there is a corridor leading to the sleeping accommodation and the fully fitted modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, separate freezer and electric cooker/hob. Steps lead up to the extended kitchen area where we find the washing machine.
The inner hall leads to two elegant twin bedrooms each with fitted wardrobes and private access to the side terrace. One attractive tiled full bath/shower room adjacent. Upstairs the entire floor is given to the master double bedroom with en-suite bath/shower room. Extremely well presented throughout with quality fixtures and furnishings.
Further details outdoors:
To the front of this beautiful country finca and flanked by a lawned area we find the sparkling swimming pool with roman steps. The maraize sun terrace furnished with relaxing sunbeds. The gardens and adjoining lands are mainly all to the front of the house and include the original horse drawn water well now an interesting feature of bygone times. An ideal choice for a relaxing family holiday.

The cosmopolitan town of Santanyi with its bustling street markets, charming Cas Concos and conveniently located s'Horta each providing the basis for some of the finest villas on the island. In the North of the island, Pollenca, Campanet and Buger have the dramatic backdrop of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range, with its myriad of little villages nestling between its peaks. Great cuisine is never far away, with each village or town offering many interesting and unique restaurants serving local sourced ingredients. As the secrets of Mallorca are slowly unravelled, so its popularity increases.
The Pollensa / Cala Sant Vicenc area
Peaceful, tranquil and relaxing, all very apt words to describe Cala San Vicenç. But it is the dramatic beauty of Cala’s coves that many people go for; a photographer’s dream, especially on a day when the wind is up and the waves crash against the rocks. The first sight of Cala Molins, either as you drive around the bend from Cala Clara or take the scenic walk across the hills from Puerto Pollença, is absolutely breathtaking. Great for snorkeling too!

Travelled to Mallorca in late April for birdwatching, walking. Lovely time of year to visit the north east corner of the island with warm weather but relatively quiet as it was early in the season. Warm enough to use the pool. Easy drive from the airport. The position of the villa in a lovely valley between Pollenca and Cala Sant Vicenc was superb. Peaceful, views across the valley and to surrounding orchards, smallholdings. No light pollution or traffic noise. Villa set in it's own large garden complete with lemon/ orange trees. Lovely large terrace that we used for eating several meals. Villa comfortable and obviously spacious for just 2. Kitchen met our needs but might be under equipped for a large group. Maid service good. Convenient for shopping in supermarkets and local markets; good choice of restaurants in Pollenca and superb fish at restaurant in Cala Sant Vicenc. Perfect for exploring the north of the island. Hire car essential but beware of the large cycling pelatons training in the mountains! |
