VILLA MARGA- A large spacious country house full of mallorcan character and flavour just a couple of minutes walk away from villa Melis in a picturesque rural setting with beautiful mountain views and open fields.

This delightful secluded villa has a private drive and a large gravel parking area at the front with lovely well-established gardens. It has an extensive lawn area and tropical palms and shrubs. The interior has high beamed ceilings and ceramic floors throughout

Steps lead to the front door opening into a large lounge area with a separate dining room decorated with local art and pretty decorative plates on the walls. It has a feature fireplace and there is a large dark wood dining suite with plenty of room to seat up to ten people. Double doors from the lounge lead onto a fabulous furnished covered terrace which overlooks the pool and lawn that has a well-feature.

There are two twin bedrooms on this level, all bedrooms have large wardrobes and hot/cold aircon units.

Steps down from the dining room lead to a large rustic farmhouse kitchen which has all modern facilities including a traditional wood burning bread oven and a large breakfast area. There are also two bathrooms, one is a small shower bathroom and the other is a larger bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and large walk-in shower.

Stairs up from the dining room lead to a split level double bedroom on the right and then at the top of the stairs is a further small twin. Next to the twin is a full bathroom and then more stairs up lead to a master double bedroom that has an ensuite bathroom with a very large walk-in shower. This bedroom also has a dressing area and a comfy seating area for relaxing with a book.

There is a free standing brick barbecue at the back of the villa with a large terrace and exterior dining table and seating - all of which take advantage of the open views over fields and distant mountains.

At the eastern end of the Serra de Tramuntana and tucked between two hills, each topped by a sacred site, Pollenca is the perfect Mallorcan town. Things to Do in Pollenca

Pollenca has many little boutiques and gift shops selling locally crafted goods from jewellery to ceramics, fabrics and interior decorations (try to visit the Pollenca fair in the middle of November if crafty fairs are your thing!). The market in Pollenca is held every Sunday between 8.30am and 1.00pm. The market in Port de Pollenca is on Wednesdays.

Pollenca is hugely popular with walkers and cyclists thanks to its marvellous location in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains. Coastal walks are also popular, particularly up towards the Cap de Formentor on the north-westerly coast of Mallorca - road cyclists are also fond the twisty road that takes you to the lighthouse on the Cap.

Sailors are attracted to the area for the northern coastline and there are plenty of water sports at the beaches of both Port de Pollenca and Port d'Alcudia. Golf enthusiasts have several golf courses close by, and there are a number of horse riding centres in the
