Home description
Situated in a lovely location with beach only a short walk away. Located in a peaceful area and has total privacy all around. A very safe area where no one will intrude. Despite being on the ground floor, there is a constant pleasant breeze flowing from the sea and it is indeed a peaceful lovely place to stay.
You will really love the friendly atmosphere of the local people in the town. The town has a lovely small shopping area and has a large supermarket called Papa Antoniou where you can buy fresh bread from 7am !
Outside, there is a swimming pool which is a few steps away. The communal swimming pool also has changing facilities and shower cubicles.
The holiday town of Latchi is only a short drive away where there is a Marina where one can try local fresh fish there which arrives on the shore at 2am.

The Paphos District
This fertile region has so many fruits trees everywhere that it will surprise you when you see supermarkets selling fruits when there are 100s lying around on the footpaths and no one picking them up!
Other than fruits, it is a green area with plenty of natural beauty with sea side only a short drive away. The beaches are uncommercialised so you can take your car right by the beach and relax. It has some lovely restaurants with English speaking waiters to entertain you.
Polis area
Polis is a quiet location with plenty to see and lovely weather to take in plus beaches to rest on. Next to Polis is a holiday town of Latchi which has Marina and rows of restaurant with pleasant night life with pubs and clubs geared for visitors.
There is a golf course nearby too within 15-20 minutes drive.
How to get there
Several Airlines go to Paphos airport. Paphos now has a new lovely airport where British Airways, Easy Jet, Thomson Airlines, Cyprus Airways, Monarch Airways etc. flies there.
There are car rental firms at the airport. Avis, Sixt, Hertz. to name a few! Avis is recommended as cars can be hired using Airmiles too (prebooked from UK), which incidentally can be collected using Tesco Clubcard Points. All cars come with unlimited mileage allowance. The one thing I don't like about it is that they give you a tank full of fuel and you have to return is empty!!
Otherwise Avis also has a branch in Latchi which is 5 minutes drive from Polis which is great. Avis staff at Latch is very friendly and helpful.
To go to Polis, take left turn from the airport exit and head towards Pafos. On the way, you will see a signboard for A6 towards Limassol. Take the A6 towards Pafos (not Limassol) and continue. After about 7-8 Km, you will see signs for Polis. Take this sign and continue for about 30 Km. Just before reaching Polis, you will see a sign for F733 Steni. Do not take the first turn but carry on straight towards Polis and then take the second route showing F733 Steni. On the second turning, Once on F733, Evagoras Apartments is 200m on the right (opposite Aristos' Polis Village 2). Our apartment is in the first block.

Further details indoors: Large spacious rooms compared to other builders. Each room has double glazed windows and electric shutter blinds.
Each room has high quality air conditioning units which are quiet in operation. It is a fully furnished apartment with each bedroom having large wardrobes. Rooms are spacious and airy.
Kitchen has electric/gas hobs and electric oven. All crockery and kitchen facility is provided with washing machine, TV, DVD player, games set, patio set etc.
Further details outdoors: Lovely scenic view, fresh breeze when the wind is blowing from the sea. Farm on the sides. Swimming pool a few steps away with communal changing and shower facility. Peaceful and tranquil area away from hustle and bustle yet a few minutes walk from the town centre and restaurants.
People are nice and friendly and always willing to talk to you. Polis town (approx. population 2000) has a a small market and shops and restaurants in the centre. Papa Antoniou supermarket is at a close distance where all possibilities of food is available, including British products at a very reasonable price.
The apartment is on second floor however it is facilitated by lift service.

Please note that this place might not be suitable for children without supervision because there is no cot facility. High chair etc. is not provided. It is on the second floor so supervision is essential. The properties in Cyprus as mainly concrete/brick/solid built and not wooden so care needs to be taken.
Although on the 2nd floor (which has it's advantages), it is also serviced by a lift.
