The villa is about 5minutes walk from the beach and nearest restaurant/bar. The nearest town of Polis is just 10mins drive away with its bars and restaurants in a quiet square. It also boasts facilities such as banks, pharmacies, post office, bus station and internet cafe. A short drive further is the harbour of Latchi where you can eat fish fresh from the sea that day.
The villa itself is entered via the front door to the main room from which you access the third bedroom, shower room and kitchen.From the kitchen you can get out on to the rear terrace where there is a table to seat six. Up the stairs a landing leads to the main bedroom and second bedroom along with the main bathroom. From the landing you access the large roof terrace where there is a shaded pergola with table and seating for four plus two sunbeds to relax on.

The Paphos District
Paphos is the south western most town of Cyprus that enjoys crystal clear waters and an all round attractive climate. It serves as a perfect holiday location and draws many English speaking people there to retire. As well as the main town of Old Paphos you have Kato Paphos built around a small harbour where there are now many restaurants and bars. On summer evenings the odd concert has been held in the area of the old fort. This itself is near to the Tomb of the kings and further on round is Coral Bay with its beaches, bars and Restaurants. Going further inland you can get into the Troodos mountains where it is possible to see snow in the early spring. The people are friendly and above all hospitable. You will get a warm welcome where ever you go so make the most of this wonderful place.
Polis / Argaka area
Our villla is on the outskirts of the village of Argaka which itself is an unspoilt Cypriot village situated between the sea and the mountain slopes. It is home to many fine restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and pockets. We like the Saint Barbara Bar, Lisa's Place whilst our son enjoyed the Irish Bar for its beer and food. Between the villa and Polis is a go Kart track that is fun for all. In Polis you will find the small square on which there are bars and restaurants all providing good quality food and drink.
Nearby there is Latchi with its harbour and sea front bars as well as a fine beach that is closed off to boats for safety. It is possible to hire a small boat and drive yourself along the coast to a wonderful bay called the Blue Lagoon where using the provided mask and snorkel you can swim with the fish in this bay before having lunch back on board. Then by heading further still along the coast from Latchi you come on to the Alkamas Peninsula where there is Aphrodites Pool. Here also you can walk around the peninsular or if you are feeling more adventurous hire a quadbike and join a safari with a local guide.
With the airport about an hour away along good roads with english road signs a visit to Argaka is well worth the effort.

The property is about 45km (45min) from Paphos airport and 110km (about 2hrs) from Larnaca Airport via the motorway.

A car will be required to travel from the airport to the villa and the main hire companies do have offices at the airport however be prepared for extras such as filling the tank with fuel and an airport delivery surcharge. Always check the driver age limits and if there is a need for a credit card. We have always used Pentaras Rentals Ltd and booked via the internet before arrival the cars are clean well maintained and delivery always prompt. They have the hire form ready for you and the price quoted will be all inclusive with no extras.

Further details indoors: Welcome packs can be provided as well as a high chair and cot booked locally. The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival with a sheet change if required every week. All the windows have fly screens with shutters to the external windows and patio doors. A book has been compiled to help you get the best of your holiday with places to visit as well as local places to eat.
Further details outdoors: The villa has a wall and fence all around it so it is safe for young children with two sun areas at ground level one by the pool and the other to the rear right of the garden. It has a private drive that is gated and the car is parked under its own pergola that is covered in bamboo by the front door. The pool is cleaned twice a week and maintained by a local firm whose staff are all English. Both Neil and Mick will tell you of many other places to visit known only to the "locals" With only one small step to the lower floor it is also good for those who have difficulty walking up stairs or need the use of a wheelchair.
There are sufficient sun loungers for all as well as tables and chairs to eat on the terraces. We have also included a parasol for every two sun loungers.

We have an english speaking lady who is available locally in case of problems or we are a phone call away if required This villa is not for rental by all male or all female parties and we will not accept bookings from teenagers due to insurance cover We cannot accept bookings for less than a week We do welcome families where the party is a maximum of six people
Conditions
We insist on a strictly no smoking policy A refundable breakages deposit of £150 is required payable with final balance. This will be refunded within two weeks of your return subject to there being no damage A deposit if 25% is required at the time of booking and final payment is due 8 weeks before visit. If booked under 8 weeks then total rental plus breakages deposit is due. No pets are allowed in the property or grounds Payment for the property is due in sterling by cheque or by internet transfer to the owners account
