The Paphos District
The Paphos district is one of six districts of Cyprus and is located on the western part of the Island. The region's magnificent coastal area is characterised by gulfs, capes, points, beaches and tiny isles, offering endless opportunity for adventure, exploration and relaxation. The Capital of the district is the city of Paphos, an increasingly popular and fast developing tourist resort with an attractive fishing harbour. And, interestingly, is the mythical birthplace of the goddess Aphrodite.
The region is ideal for nature lovers and ramblers alike, boasting some spectacular areas such as the Troodos mountains and the Akamas peninsula. But the area is also brimming with activities. Visit the Latchi Watersports centre or the Aphrodite Water Park and try scuba-diving, jet-skiing or sailing. Play golf on one of the 3 world-class courses, take cruises to one of the many isles, or even go skiing in the Troodos mountains (in season of course).
Polis / Neo Chorion area
Set in the hillside above the Chrysochos bay, Neo Chorio is a winding village of stone cottages and white-washed houses. It's maintained its rustic charm with local traditions and customs still in evidence but you will also find 3 tavernas and 2 small food stores! Within the village you will find a few traditional tavernas, Cypriot coffee shops, a Church, a mini market and a bank all within 1km of the villa.
The seaside resort of Latchi well known locally for it's seafood is less than 2 km. The famous Baths of Aphrodite, the Akamas National Park and the beach of Latchi are all within a few minutes drive. Activities available within a 15 minute drive: snorkelling, cycling, fishing, rambling, go-karting, swimming
The nearest beach is at Latchi (1.5km). The warm clear sea is ideal for swimming and a variety of watersports. Hire a motorboat around the bay - take snorkels & a picnic for a wonderful day out - or simply relax in a taverna around the pretty harbour, a great spot for a fresh fish meze & to watch the fishermen unload their catch.
Polis (7km) is a bustling town with a lovely square & mix of bars, restaurants, shops, history, culture & beach.
The Akamas National Park (on the doorstep!) is a tranquil area of natural beauty. An enchanting place to explore & a paradise for the more active holidaymaker to enjoy walking and outdoor pursuits! All this & great rates too!
Distances..... Neo Chorio village and amenities - 3 minutes walk. Nearest beach and marina - Latchi - 5 minutes drive. Nearest town - Polis - 10 minutes drive. Paphos harbour & centre - 45 minutes. History & places of interest - all around. Local activities: walking, cycling, diving, fishing, horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding, sailing, swimming, water sports, bird watching, shops to name just a few! Golf course at Tsada 20 minutes drive. Skiing 2 hours drive away.

How to get there
By Air: Paphos International Airport is a 50 minute drive from the villa. It serves various airlines from the UK, including Easyjet, British Airways, Thomson fly and Thomas Cook (from destinations incl. Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester).
Hire cars and taxis are available at the airport. Alternatively try Lamaca Airport (though it is around 180km from the villa).

Further details indoors: The entry level features a spacious open plan living/dining area and kitchen.
Entertainment is provided by the 32" LCD TV (local stations only) and DVD.
The kitchen is equipped with an oven and ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining table seats 8. A separate fully-equipped guest bathroom (equipped with a state-of-the art hydro-massage jacuzzi shower) is also located on this level.
One of the 4 bedrooms is conveniently located on the ground floor adjacent to the bathroom, fully-furnished with a double bed, providing easy access if required.
Stairs lead to the 1st floor level where the remaining 2 bedrooms and master bedroom are located upstairs, each fully furnished with a double bed. Bed linen and towels are supplied.
The master double bedroom has en-suite bathroom. The remaining two upstairs bedrooms share the full family bathroom. The villa is air conditioned throughout (6 hot/cold split units in total) which is included in the price.
Further details outdoors: Outside the 8 metre x 4 metre private swimming pool is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace with elegant rope fencing and an outdoor shower pool-side shower. Sunbeds are provided and the terrace is equipped with a parasol, making it perfect for outdoor dining with BBQ also provided. Private covered parking facilities for 2 cars is also available.
Please note that the swimming pool is not gated and hence particular attention on your behalf is required if you will be accompanied by children.
