Home description

The 1 bed luxury apartment (brand new in 2008.) is situated 1 km from the centre of Polis and has the facility to sleep 4 having 1 bedroom and 2 sofa beds in the large lounge area.
AS A FABULOUS EXTRA WE HAVE JUST ADDED THE FULL SKY TV PROGRAMMES PACKAGE.

The lounge area and the bedroom both lead on to a spacious balcony equipped with table and chairs for those long hot alfresco summer nights under the stars with a bottle of nice wine.....Wonderful !!!!!.( Linda's and my favourite pastime........) The balcony is not overlooked and also benefits from sea and mountain views and is close to the shared swimming pool.

The large swimming pool has ample umbrellas and sunbeds and its own shower and toilet facilities.
Attractive well kept gardens (which are maintained by a caretaker.) also add to the overall vista of Evagoras Gardens.

Linda and I enjoy Polis so much that we have a second property on the complex and though not yet retired we are often there to help if needed.

Evagoras Gardens is situated within a 5 minute walk from the centre of Polis with its long quiet sandy beaches and magnificent array of local shops,a new supermarket and cosmopolitan restaurants,serving all types of food to suit everyones needs.

The harbour at Latchi is only a few kilometres away and has some Magnificent fish restaurants and long,long beaches. Polis is a small and quaint Cypriot village which has let time go by and still maintains its Cypriot roots.
You can take up one of the many walks or cycle rides around Polis or just sit and watch the world go by in one of the many excellent bars or restaurants.

Tsada Golf course is also close by for any golfers out there.

The Paphos District

The Paphos district takes in the areas of Coral Bay, Peyia and the residential Tala village together with the bustling and busy Paphos town with many beaches and coves to explore, including the famous Sea caves and the Tomb of the Kings.

Paphos also has a shopping Mall boasting many names from home such as Debenhams and Next.
The temperatures vary from around 20 deg in winter up to 35 degrees in midsummer....July and August.
The climate all year is mild compared to the UK and Cyprus enjoys 340 days of sunshine each year.
There are golf courses at Tsada and Secret Valley and the stunning Aphrodite Hills course.
To the east there are the Beautiful Troodos Mountains.

For the children there is a large Waterpark in Paphos with all the usual thrills and spills.


Polis / Imbrou Tenedou area

The Polis area is very traditional and unspoilt with a variety of colourful retaurants ,bars,shops and one modern Supermarket (just six months old )

Polis is also within a few kilometres of the Baths of the Goddess Aphrodite on the Akamas peninsular famous for its Flora and forna which attracts walkers,hikers and lovers of the outdoors.

Moving North there are miles of beach and shore line, some with tavernas and some where you see very few people.

Moving further North there are some wonderful Pine Forests and spectacular countryside and mountain views.
Next to Polis is Latchi which is the port of Polis and has miles of magnificent beaches and boasts some of the finest fish restaurants around.

There is also a Harbour where you can watch the nights catch being brought ashore
Polis itself retains the old Cypriot feel and promotes a very relaxed atmosphere.

The town comes alive in the evening with so many retaurants one after another serving foods from all over the world,and it is so theraputic to sit and eat at a leisurely pace and watch the world go by.

There are also traditional type Cypriot drinking houses and one or two night clubs for the younger visitors.
There is also a Water Park for the children in Paphos and in the Polis area itself there is much to do including.
Go Karting, Diving, Boat hire, Boat trips and Fishing trips.

Horse riding, Bike hire and Quad bike hire and in Prodromi there is a Ten pin bowling alley.
There are also quiz nights and Bingo at one of the theme restaurants.

Most budget airlines fly to Paphos Airport including Jet2, Ryanair, and Easyjet from major UK airports.
Polis is a pleasant and relaxing 30 minutes drive by car or taxi from Paphos Airport.
Taxi fare from airport to the apartment is approximately 35 Euros.
Car hire is available in Polis and they will pick you up from the airport in your hire car, take you to the apartment and return you to the airport after your holiday if you require this service at no extra charge.
Cyprus like the United Kingdom drive on the left.
Buses run regularly between Paphos and Polis.

The pool is ideal for children having a large safe shallow area.

A disabled toilet is close by the pool area near to the lift.

Attractive,well maintained gardens add style and character to the whole complex.

There is a private marked parking bay which is undercover.

Conditions

I am sorry but pets are not allowed.
We have a no smoking policy in the apartment.
There is a lift providing wheelchair access to the first floor apartment.
The property is ideal and safe for children.
Cot hire is avilable locally.
We request that a fifty pounds (non-returnable )deposit is paid with the booking although in exceptional cases we would look at the return of this sympathetically.

For 2 adults and children there will be no surcharge, however where four adults book there will be a £25.00 per week surcharge for each adult.

We would like the balance to be paid please six weeks before departure.

5% discount on bookings of one month.....10% discount on two months

Even larger discounts on bookings of three months or more.

We have nothing to enter in here as it is a brand new apartment and nobody has been yet..!!!!!!!
However I can tell you that Lyn and I love the area, its beaches and the absolute peace and tranquility.
We use all the "eating places " in Polis and Latchi but really enjoy the odd night when we buy a hot spit roasted chicken, Lamb or Suckling Pig from the most amazing takeaway in Polis and eat it on the balcony with a home made Feta cheese salad and a bottle of local wine whilst watching the sun disappear behind the mountains...spectacular.........Relaxing....Isn't that what holidays are all about !!!!?????
