About the home
An immaculate three bedroom villa with private swimming pool, situated 500m from the sea. Tastefully furnished by the friendly owners, this superb villa offers peace and privacy, together with a wealth of facilities. The well-tended garden has a lawned area with many colourful plants and bushes, and views that extend over orange and lemon groves down to the sea.
The open plan ground floor offers two separate lounge areas, furnished to a high standard, and with satellite TV (limited channels), DVD and CD stereo. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. For formal dining the dining table can comfortably seat 8 whilst there is a breakfast bar with stools for less formal dining. A guest cloakroom is located on this floor. The first of the villa's three bedrooms is found on this floor, this is a twin bedded room with en-suite shower room.
On the first floor two further bedrooms, and a large, shaded terrace furnished with table and chairs are found. The master double bedroom features a 4 poster bed and has its own en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath. The final twin bedroom has its own en-suite shower room.
Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning units* for either cooling or heating. A safety deposit box and hairdryer are provided and beach towels supplied for guests use. A baby cot and highchair can be provided on request.
The large 10 metre x 5 metre private swimming pool is surrounded by paved sunbathing terraces, set with sunbeds, large umbrellas, table and chairs, and a poolside shower. The well-tended garden has a lawned area, many colourful plants and bushes, and views that extend over orange groves down to the sea. To one side of the terrace is a built-in barbeque area, and at the other side is the large gazebo under which is a pool table, with all equipment provided.

The Paphos region
Polis is the principal town for the region, huddled around a pedestrianised square where visitors and locals gather in the mornings to enjoy a coffee and watch the world pass by and in the evenings to dine at one of the wide selection of restaurants, tavernas and cafes which radiate out from the centre. The town has an archaeological museum and cultural centre. Polis which is approximately 10 minutes drive away offers the nearest organized beach to the villas backed by tall Eucalyptus trees.
A little further along the coast from Polis is the seaside resort of Latchi with its recently opened 200 berth marina. Here you will find an array of inviting sea-front tavernas with a superb selection of fresh fish and seafood served daily. Just beyond Latchi you will find the well known 'Baths of Aphrodite' and for nature lovers the protected Akamas Peninsular an area particular suited to walkers and adventurers who can explore the many criss-crossed nature trails. The coastline of this area can also be enjoyed by boat with daily excursions available from the marina.
Polis and the surrounding villages count bowling, go-karting, fishing, cycling, watersports and scuba diving amongst the many activities on offer to the visitor. The Minthis Hills Golf Course is approximately a 40 minute drive away. The town of Paphos with its World Heritage Sites, modern shopping facilities, waterpark and attractive harbour area is within a 50 minute drive.
The Polis / Argaka area
Argaka is located on the coastal plains of the Chrysochous area away from the more mainstream destinations. Nourished by its own reservoir this agricultural area is well known for its abundance of citrus orchards The settlement of Argaka itself is divided into two parts, Pano Argaka (upper) located between the sea and the pine forest is the older of the two communities. Here, traditional style architecture can be found amongst the narrow, winding roads and the traditional spirit of Cyprus is still very much in evidence at the local kafenion which provides a focal point for the village's residents to gather, exchange news and pass the time of day. Kato Argaka (lower) is the newer settlement standing next to the sea, although this area features more contemporary style residences and a handful of tavernas dotted along the coastal road, the atmosphere is still very laidback. The nearest restaurant to the villa is 800 metres away with two more being within 2 kilometres of the villa.
The undeveloped beaches of the Argaka area stretch along a natural coastline of coarse sand, shingle and pebble. For a day here you will need to bring your own beach mat and umbrella. Refreshments can be found at one of the tavernas scattered along the coastal road or you can take a cool box and lunch under the shade of the trees in one of the designated picnic areas.

Phillips - An excellent villa, particularly the large pool, location, friendliness of the owners, and, not forgetting the spectacular views in an unspoilt area of Cyprus.
Henden - We have stayed in lots of villas but we think this villa is one of the best.
Phillips - The villa was wonderful - well equipped,luxurious & in a great spot. We did have a power cut due to bad weather on our last day & the owners got to us with in 10 minutes of my call - which was excellent. All in all a great holiday.Thank you all very much.
Sweeney - Had a lovely time - accommodation very good but a bit isolated for us. Owners very helpful.
