The property also benefits from fly screens fitted to all windows, a wall mounted 32" HD flat screen TV with Free view channels, DVD player and MP3 speaker dock.

Cyprus is renowned for it warm climate and year round sunshine.Polis is situated in the western most point of Cyprus bordered by the Akamas peninsular national park and the Troudos Mountains. This corner of Cyprus is the least developed part, where the wilderness of the Akamas and authentic Cypriot hospitality lends an air of calm and tranquillity.
The main town of Polis has every amenity but retains its ancient charm. The quaint fishing harbour of Lachi with it's chic bars and fish restaurants peer out across the turquoise seas of Chrysochu bay to the Akamas nature conservation area complete with hiking and cycle trails, fabulous sunsets and stunning unspoilt beaches. For the more adventurous you can explore the vast unspoilt Akamas trails by quad bike or hire a speedboat from nearby Lachi Harbour and snorkel or dive the lagoons.
The approach roads to the area are surrounded by citrus and olive groves, vineyards, banana plantations, forest glades and sleepy monasteries. The famous baths of Aphrodite (the Greek goddess of love) are in close proximity.
Further round the coast at Lara beach, lies one of only two sites in the world which hosts the breeding ground of the rare loggerhead turtle. The area is home to an array of endemic wild flowers and birds.
In the centre of Polis is the old town square. It has an abundance of taverna's serving a selection of dishes including traditional Cypriot Meze and fresh local fish .The square is lively in the evening, creating an ambiance of traditional hospitality and relaxation.
Polis gardens is situated within easy walking distance of local amenities, which includes a modern supermarket, shops, Polis square and restaurants.
Lachi harbour is proximately 3km away and offers a variety of water sports including jet ski, boat hire, snorkelling/ scuba, and fishing. The harbour front provides an array of chic bars and restaurants, serving local fish, traditional Cypriot, and international dishes.
Cycle and quad bike hire is available locally to explore the many beautiful trails of the Akamas National Park.The area from Yialia to Polis is a major nesting site of the Loggerhead turtles and it has been included in the Natura 2000 network.This is the most highly protected area in Cyprus. A (U.N.E.S.C.O. classified region). This protects it from over development in what is considered to be the most pristine beautiful spot in Cyprus.
Motor Cycle hire is available locally. Tsada Golf Club is situated 30 mins drive away established in 1994, the first course designed by Donald Steel. Par 72 - 6,855 yards and located amongst vineyards, next to a 12th century monastery. This is a challenging course which has an excellent club house, swimming pool ,and changing facilities.
Further afield within an hours drive you will find the Secret Valley Golf Club (Par 72 - 6,737 yards) a championship course surrounded by stunning rock formations and mature trees. Nearby is the Aphrodite Hills Golf Club (Par 71 - 6,855 yards) designed by Cabell Robinson another fine example of a championship course built on two plateaux which has spectacular views of the sea.
One of the finest golf course developments in the world today is officially underway in Polis after many months of preceding groundwork, costing over 30 million Euros. This construction is a magnificent world class twin signature conception that literally ends right on the sea. With its own 750 metre stretch of beach and set in 2.9 million square metres of prime coastal land. This is the only joint project in the whole of Europe by Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus, two of the games most successful players and also two of the leading golf course designers in the world.The master project is due for completion in mid to late 2014.

"Perfect 2weeks away :)"
Myself and my husband had never travelled to Cyprus before but we're looking for something a little different away from the typical package deal with other families so we found some cheap flights… More

"Wonderfull Accomodation, magical location, must see!"
Excellent Accomodation that me and my partner can highly reccomend. The location is perfect, with a short walk to all the ameneties and of course the beatiful square. The newley built accomodation was stunning and very clean. It was so easy to book and arrange, and the owner was extremely helpfull and kind. The area is such a refreshing change away from the tourist areas, and local atmosphere and surroundings were magical. A totaly relaxing and extremely good value for money trip that we will certainly be making again in the near future.
