The Paphos District
Cyprus has about 340 days of sunshine during the year even the winter months offer a plentiful supply of sunshine but the nights are cool. At times you can sunbathe in Polis while others are ski ing in the Troodos.
Even with all this sunshine there is an abundance of flowers and trees to be seen all over the island.
Beaches are plentiful although a mixture of sand and pebble, and the sea is beautifully clear and blue and very warm.
Cyprus is full of history, after all it is the birthplace of Aphrodite and is often called the Island of Love.
Polis itself is ideally located for all activities, and for those who want a golfing holiday then Cyprus is the place for you.
Polis area
Polis is famed for the Square which is situated in the centre of Polis Here you will find many tavernas and a few bars, gift shops and much much more. The square is where the locals gather for a coffee a beer and to sit and chat with the tourists, there is always a tale to tell.
During the summer months Polis holds festivals of music, dance and singing organised by the locals and the tourist board. At the end of September is when the Polis Festival takes place in the Municipality Square. It is a night when locals and tourists come together, and there is free food and drink for everyone. There is entertainment provided and you will often see the local butcher or baker etc as part of a dance or singing group.
All in all Polis has something for everyone, it is a place that never ceases to amaze.
How to get there
Most airlines land at Paphos International Airport now including Thomson, Thomas Cook, Easyjet, First Choice, BA, Cyprus Airways, Monarch and many more.
Car hire is strongly recommended but is not essential as Polis centre is just 10-15 minutes walk.
You will need a taxi from the airport but we can arrange this for you, the journey from the airport to Polis is about 45 minutes.

Further details indoors: There is Broadband Connection and Sky TV (with the full sports package). Also for you to use during your stay is a local Pay As You Go mobile phone. This is much cheaper to use than your UK mobile for local and calls to the UK.
There are Sunloungers, Umbrella, Beach Towels, Cool Box, Folding Chairs and many CDs & DVDs and also for a small extra charge there is a Travel Cot, and High Chair.
Further details outdoors: The complex is surrounded by fruit orchards. There are stunning views of the Akamas Peninsula and the beautiful waters of the Mediterranean can be seen in the distance.
The large sunny balcony with lounge seating for great views, perfect for reading and relaxing with a cup of tea or something stronger.
The complex is beautifully clean and maintained to a very high standard.
There is covered private parking.
The heated swimming pool is furnished with sunloungers and umbrellas.
There is no smoking or drinking of Alchohol allowed at the swimming pool area.
THE SWIMMING POOL IS OF ONE LEVEL AND MAY BE UNSUITABLE FOR VERY SMALL CHILDREN, IN ANY CASE ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT WHEN USING THE POOL.

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment, but is permitted on the balcony.
Pets are not usually permitted, but please enquire as exceptions can be made.
Once your enquiry is received you will have 7 days to pay a non refundable deposit of £25.00 GBP per person.
Once the deposit is received your holiday will be confirmed.
The balance of your holiday price must be paid 8 weeks or before your holiday.
