This villa is just opposite the swimmers beach on the Argaka coast road everything you need is close by and a car is not essential although a nice extra. The local beach bar/restaurant, besides being a couple of minutes walk away offers a home delivery service so if you would like a meal and can't be bothered with the self catering facilities of the villa then a quick look at the menu and a phone call will bring you your meal to your door!
Argaka has a small supermarket, butcher and newsagent plus restaurants and beach bars. Not a very busy village which is a blessing to most visitors. If you like to have people around but for a place to be not too busy then this is the place to spend your holiday.
The villa offers everything you need for a self catering holiday but the owners will always help out should you decide for example not to hire a car - you will have a local number to call should you need any assistance even with a 'big grocery shopping' .

The Paphos District
The nearby Akamas National Park is renowned as an area of outstanding natural beauty it coast lined by unspoilt beaches and clear blue waters where the crowds have still not discovered. The unspoilt surrounding countryside and villages offer you the chance to taste the real Cyprus.
Cyprus has a very ancient history with many sites available to visit all over the island; the Polis - Paphos district include The Baths of Aphrodite, The Tombs of the Kings, The Amphitheatre at Curium and the Mosaics at The House of Dionysos plus much more.
A trip into the Troodos mountains visiting Stavros tis Psokas to see the Moufflon and then onto the Kykkos Monastery or just to enjoy the fabulous views in the Cedar Valley is well worth the time.
Polis / Argaka area
If you can tear yourself away from Villa Fly Again, why not enjoy visiting the surrounding area? Perhaps visit the Akamas National Park, or the Baths of Aphrodite, snorkel in the ocean below the baths, or take a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon.
For those of you who want more night life, Polis & Latchi have many restaurants & bars where you can enjoy local and international cuisine. One of Polis' better restaurants is "Old Town" where the kitchen is of a high standard and the garden setting very romantic. On the road towards Latchi there is also a very good Chinese restaurant which also caters for take-away just the thing for a courtyard meal!
Even though the property is outside of Argaka and its nearest neighboring villa is approx 100m away everything is still within easy reach. The closest small town is Polis Chrysouchous (9km), where there is a clinic, 3 pharmacys, many kinds of entertainment.
Argaka Village has 2 small supermarkets, a butchers, where you can purchase your daily necessities; plus a number of beach bars and restaurants, most bar and restaurant staff speak English, which can be blessing for first time visitors. Very special is the Irish Beach Bar & Restaurant "Fly Again" just 400 m away, with excellent foot and draft imported beers like Beamish, Carlish, Artois and lokal ones...... you can sit in the tropical garden just 20 m from the beach and enjoy every evening the lovely sunset there....
We strongly recommend trying a fish meze sat directly on the beach at “Psaropoulos Beach Tavern" just before Latchi, where you can relax and swim. An evening sat on the terrace of the new Ranch style bar/restaurant in Argaka (again on the coast road) is also very pleasant.
A trip to Pomos (10 mins drive), is a must as the coastline is very different, from Argaka and Latchi, it is much more rocky and picturesque. Paradise Bar on the Pomos road is a must at sunset, the view is a dream as you sip your Sundowner. The beaches in this area are also a treat, generally very quiet and mostly shingle.

Although there is no ramp for wheelchairs the property has only a low entrance step, there is a downstairs bedroom and bathroom (with shower) and the living area is open plan so a wheelchair bound person could be accommodated.
