The Paphos District
Once the capital of Cyprus, Paphos has a history that dates back thousands of years. Modern Paphos is split into two parts, the upper part being the old town known locally as “Ktima” and the lower town by the coast known as ‘Kato Paphos’. The upper part of the town contains the main commercial centre, shops and modern museums. The lower part of the town contains most of the historic sites.
Paphos is rich in ancient and natural sites which is reflected in the fact that it is included in the UNESCO list of World Cultural Heritage Sites and many of these sites date back to the Roman ages.
Polis / Steni area
The whole property is totally private and very peaceful, being surrounded by lush green citrus groves and with no other property in the immediate vicinity, yet is only a leisurely 5 minute drive to Polis, the principal town for the area with it's organised beach and wide selection of restaurants, tavernas and cafe bars. A couple of minutes drive further on from Polis will take you to the fishing resort of Latchi, well known locally for its seafood, the famous 'Baths of Aphrodite' and the unspoilt Akamas Penninsular. The larger town centre of Paphos is approximately 35 minutes drive away.

A built-in barbecue area is found on the side terrace. The inviting swimming pool is surrounded by sunbathing terraces with sunbeds and a poolside shower, leading onto a well-kept lawn.
