The Paphos District
Paphos Town & harbour are 45 minutes drive. Paphos, in comparison to the Polis region, is a busy tourist and commercial centre. There are a range of activities to explore in Paphos including historical sites, a lovely harbour, beach, a mixture of local and tourist shops, the market and lots of bars and restaurants. Paphos also boasts a large waterpark for lots of family fun!

The villa is in a magnificent location with the village, beach, sea, town and countryside all very close by...........
*Set in the hillside above the bay, Neo Chorio (1km) is a winding village of stone cottages & white-washed houses. It's maintained its rustic charm with local traditions and customs still in evidence but you will also find 2 tavernas & a small food store! *The nearest beach is at Latchi (3km). The warm clear sea is ideal for swimming and a variety of watersports. Hire a motorboat around the bay - take snorkels & a picnic for a wonderful day out - or simply relax in a taverna around the pretty harbour, a great spot for a fresh fish meze & to watch the fishermen unload their catch. *Polis (8km) is a bustling town with a lovely square & mix of bars, restaurants, shops, history, culture & beach. *The Akamas National Park (on the doorstep!)) is a tranquil area of natural beauty. An enchanting place to explore & a paradise for the more active holidaymaker to enjoy walking and outdoor pursuits! All this & great rates too!
Distances..... Neo Chorio village and amenities - 3 minutes walk. Nearest beach and marina - Latchi - 8 minutes drive. Nearest town - Polis - 12 minutes drive. Countryside - on doorstep! Paphos harbour & centre - 45 minutes. History & places of interest - all around. Local activities: walking, cycling, diving, fishing, horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding, sailing, swimming, water sports, bird watching, shops to name just a few! Golf course at Tsada 20 minutes drive. Skiing 2 hours drive away.
Getting around....... Car hire is not absolutely essential but is very highly recommended for guests staying at The Olive House if you are to get the very best from your holiday. A car is perfectly adequate for getting from the airport and tripping around the local area but if you want to explore the Troodos or Akamas by car and visit the excellent off the road beaches this region has to offer then you will require a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Local buses run from Polis-Paphos.

Flights...... Paphos is the nearest international airport, just 53km (55 minutes drive) and flghts operate from all major and many regional airports in the United Kingdom.

(2) Welcome Pack - on arrival at The Olive House you will find a grocery pack waiting for you to get you started until you have the opportunity to visit the local store. Our pack includes a number of essentials including a bottle of local wine so within minutes of your arrival you can enjoy a wonderful refreshment on the terrace, drinking in that fabulous view! (3) All linen, bathroom, kitchen and pool towels are also provided.
