The Paphos District

. The origins of Paphos date back to the 4th century; initially only a small village it soon became the capital of western Cyprus.

As a result of its history Paphos has plenty of places of interest. There is everything from Roman ruins to a Byzantine Palace. The Greek goddess Aphrodite has been sourced to this area, and her birthplace is acclaimed to have been off the coast of Paphos; her birth having been depicted by Botticelli in "The Birth Of Venus". Paphos is included in UNESCO the list of cultural and natural treasures of the world heritage.

Air-conditioning and central heating is fitted throughout the villa, including all bedrooms, lounge, dining room, kitchen and the games room. The pool can also be heated during the cooler months.• Air-Conditioning (for cooling and heating) is included in all bedrooms; the use of the large units in the living room and kitchen, if required, is charged for at a supplement of £ 5 per unit/day, payable locally
