About the home

This luxurious 4 or 5 bedroom, fully air conditioned villa is situated on a hill in Argaka village. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi and access to a private veranda. Recently built, the villa stands within a large, well maintained, mature garden with lots of trees, shrubs and flower borders and a large private pool.

The popular village of Argaka is just five minutes from the picturesque town of Polis and Latchi harbour, where you will find many excellent restaurants, bars, tavernas and night clubs. Argaka itself boasts several tavernas, beach bars, supermarket, picnic area, and is the ideal base to explore the wonderful coastline with its pretty fishing villages, sandy beaches and coves. A place to relax, unwind and enjoy!

The Paphos region

The excellent climate Cyprus affords practically all year round with its mild winters and gloriously warm summers makes it a popular holiday destination. The district of Paphos boasts many archaeological sites and cultural monuments, such as the Castle of Paphos overlooking the lively, picturesque and colourful harbour. Further a field, a visit to the Kykkos monastery in the Troodos mountains, an area of natural beauty is an unforgettable experience. The Polis / Argaka area

Argaka, a popular coastal village enjoys hot barmy days, warm sea waters, and beautiful sunsets. Its proximity to the picturesque town of Polis with its town square and friendly residents ensures a wonderful relaxing holiday.

The Akamas nature reserve and Baths of Aphrodite are a short distance from the villa and for the more adventurous, a trip to the long sandy and predominantly deserted Lara beach, with its crystal clear waters is a must. The beach is protected during the late summer months when turtles arrive to lay thier eggs. The Akamas is popular with hikers, cyclists and nature lovers alike as it offers stunning views. The fishing village of Latchi is reputed for its harbour side fish restaurants, which many believe to be amongst the best in Cyprus. In Latchi there is a water sports centre, where you can arrange boat trips, hire jet-ski, learn to dive and much more. Bicycle hire and safari trips can also be booked in Latchi. There are two Golf courses within an hours drive.
A local bus service runs from Polis to Paphos daily.

Guestbook for Apollon

We have now stayed at Villa Apollon twice. The spacious house and gardens were an excellent base for our holidays. The sea and mountain views from the house are exceptional and the sunsets breathtaking. The BBQ area was excellent for poolside dining. A very clean and well equipped house. The owners who live next door, made us very welcome. Highly recomended.
