The Paphos region
The town of Paphos is of significant historic and archaeological interest and attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year. The Tombs of the Kings and the Amphitheatre at Kourion are attractions which should not be missed, as are the beautiful harbour area an the stunning beach at nearby Coral Bay.
For the more adventurous, the Akamas Penninsula and the Troodos Mountains are worthy of a special day trip. Fast establishing itself as a leading golf holiday destination, why not enjoy a round of golf in one of the healthiest climates in the world.
The Polis / Argaka area
Argaka Villiage sits in one of Cyprus' coastal hills and boasts spectacular views over the crystal clear sea. This traditional village is crammed full of old-world charm and is only meters away from the beach. There's lots to keep you active with fishing, walking, cycling, golf, water sports and local boat-cruises available. Local places of interest include Akamas Peninsula, Bath of Aphrodite (Goddess Venus) plus Latchi & Pomos fishing harbour.

We rented the apartment for 3 weeks and we enjoyed it to the full. Communication and reservation was easy and straightforward The apartment is a spacious clean, neat and fully equipped apartment comprising of 2 bedrooms with more than enough cabinets, a sizeable bathroom, a large living and dining area and an open kitchen with all necessary appliances. But above all a huge balcony that allows for relaxing, sunbathing and trip-planning while leaving more than enough space for kids to play and/or setting up diving or fishing gear. And after a day of enjoying the beauty of the most wonderful area of Cyprus the huge balcony is spacious enough to invite lots of friends for a drink or dinner or simply counting falling stars in the clear sky. The shared swimming pool to have a quick cool off is just a few steps away. The apartment is located at the outskirts of the small sleepy village of Argaka and allows for nice walks through the sunbathing fields with views over the hilly surroundings and Mediterranean. Daily shopping can be done at the small supermarket just around the corner or at the big supermarkets in Polis just a few kilometers away In case you forgot something, the local kiosk is open till late at night and sells everything from matches, vegetables, bread to candy and prepaid phone cards The Argaka / Polis / Latchi area allows for a wide variety of things to do. Nipping on a fresh orange juice at the Polis square or the Latchi harbor boulevard. Diving into the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean accompanied by hundreds of nosy fishes. Walking through the wilderness of the Akamas peninsula, with astonishing views over the Latchi bay coastline. Karting, boat trips, boat rental, parasailing, safaris and scubadiving are of course offered by several commercial firms. A trip to the Argaka / Polis / Latchi area will never disappoint and the apartment only adds to that feeling. |
