Crime is very low in Cyprus but a safe is provided for additional security. Beaches can be found at Polis and Latchi.Also close to Akamas nature reserve and the baths of aphrodite. Also provided are mountain bikes.

The Paphos District
This western side of Cyprus gives us the unspoilt peninsula of Akamas.Great for hikers, cycling , horse riding and nature lovers. The waters off this stretch of coast line are great for diving and water sports. There are plenty of other water sports kayaks, jetskis,banana boat rides speed boats to hire or just relax on the peaceful beaches. If you enjoy a game of golf you can do this at Tsada golf course 25 minutes from polis. Discover Troudes Mountains spectacular scenery and in the winter months mid December to March you can even try a spot of skiing/ snowboarding.Then pop of down to the beach. Cyprus has so many places to discover and polis is a fantastic starting point.
Polis / Prodromi area
Polis is ideal if you want a less commercialised resort. Polis village square with pedestrian area has a good choice of restaurants and Tavernas with a friendly warm feel.Latchi is well known for its fish restaurants.In the surrounding villages you can visit for free wine tasting in the many wineries, stock up for the holiday or take home. One of a handful of wilderness areas, the akamas penisula, with its table top mountain, spectacular views between pines to turquoise waters below and the famous baths of Aphrodite, is an excellent place to admire either on foot or bike.
How to get there
Fly to Paphos airport. Polis is a 40 minute easy drive away . Flights are available at all uk airports. We recommend : BA.com,first choice.New for 2008 easy jet, Monarch and jet2 are now flying to paphos. Many others are available and we are happy to assist you. Taxi's and car hire are available at the airport, driving is on the left just like in the u.k. We can also help you with car hire. Easycar and europcar we find are very good. Map and intructions on how to get to the apartment will be provided.
