Located in a small complex of just 13 privately owned properties with communal pool within the peaceful village of Prodromi Polis. Sleeps 4 but is an ideal romantic getaway for couples. Walking distance to supermarkets and bakery (highly recommended!) 1km from Polis centre 2km to Latchi harbour with newly built marina. Numerous bars and restaurants available to choose from. Approx 1.5km to beaches at Polis and Latchi. Close to the Akamas nature reserve. 2 mountain bikes provided.

The Paphos District
The Polis district and its proximity to the natural beauty of the Akamas peninsula is popular with hikers and nature lovers. The area is also very good for cycling and horse riding. Lovers of water sports are able to indulge in deep sea diving, as the nearby Akamas coastal area is known for the exceptional depth of its seas. But that's not all the water sport on offer! What about sailing, waterskiing, parasailing or jetskis! Visitors are able to hire speed boats, surfboards, sea kayaks or to swim in the warm waters of the Chrysochou Bay. Interested in golf? You can enjoy a game of golf at Tsada Golf Course at a distance of only 25 minutes from Polis. The Troudos mountains are about an hours drive and offer skiing from around mid December to mid March. Although the island has over 340 days of sunshine a year, Cyprus truly is an island for all seasons and one of the only places in the world where you can ski in the morning and be at the beach in the afternoon!
Polis / Prodromi area
Most holidaymakers visit the Polis Chrysochou area as they want to experience the real Cyprus away from the busier commercialised resorts. Tour operators in Polis and Latchi offer both jeep safaris and boat trips to the nearby Akamas Peninsula, so that visitors can enjoy the area's rich and diverse flora and fauna and its strong mythological links with Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty.Aphrodite's Baths are a 10 min drive away.Pafos is a 30 min drive and there are also regular bus trips which is a great way to see the beautiful Chrysochou Valley with its countless citrus groves and vineyards. Polis' cobbled village square with church and pedestrian area offers a wide choice of restaurants and tavernas whilst Latchi is renowned for its fish restaurants. There are several wineries in the surrounding unspoilt villages that can be visited for free wine tasting and stocking up on good Cyprus wines for your holiday and to take home.
How to get there
Fly into Paphos airport. The apartment is an easy 40 minute drive away on good roads (drive on the left as in UK) Flights available from all UK airports, we can recommend : Flydeals.co.uk, A1 Travel.co.uk but many others available too. Car hire and taxi's are available from Paphos airport although if required, and with a 20% discount, we can recommend a local car hire firm in Polis who will include airport transfers. We provide full instructions and a map on how to get to the apartment before your holiday.
