Frontline villa opposite sandy beach, beautiful sea views. Luxury on the beach! Superfast business wi-fi. This exquisite immaculate villa is situated within a large pretty & mature lawned garden 50m sandy Argaka beach, the sea and the coast road. It has a large private swimming pool with a separate baby/splash pool. (The baby pool has been an enormous success as is a lot warmer than the main pool, especially in low to mid season, so good for young children.) Solar heated pool at Villa Argaka Sand. There is a further large play area shared by all our 5 villas, equipped with toys and a working fountain. A great place for you to take your children to make friends with others staying here.

We are pleased to offer lower 2 person rates here and on other villas.

The villa is in a private lane, accessed via a private gated drive, and the large balcony upstairs provides fantastic sea views, and over the mature palm trees and orange groves to the side, backed by hills,

The friendly owners have succeeded in making this property a “home from home” with quality furnishings, including an imported German kitchen, wifi, superior double glazed tilt and turn windows and doors throughout. We have a Playstation “on request”.

There is a selection of tavernas within easy walking distance along the flat coast road, starting with the popular Liza's Place 50m (children love the menagerie here) and Liza is happy to cook “off menu” food, just ask. Santa Barbara restaurant on the sandy beach is about 2 mins walk, and they offer sunloungers on the beach too.

Argaka village is tucked behind the villas and has a well stocked supermarket. Quaint Polis Town, a wonderful mix of old and new, is a little further on, and can provide you with a fantastic selection of shops, restaurants, bars, banks and a pretty pedestrianised centre. Latchi with its pretty harbour and fish tavernas is just 2km further.

Hi Irene,

We are back from our holidays. Villa was great. Spacious, very well equipped, big pool, big garden, 50m to the warm sea – what else shall we need for a great vacations?! Thank you for your help. We`ll definitely recommend this way of holiday accommodation to our friends.

Best regards

Hi Irene

Thanks very much for organising the extended day at Argaka.

We really enjoyed it there and would say we have never stayed in a cleaner villa.

We would certainly recommend it.

Kind regards

Irene,

I apologise. It is long overdue. We were very pleased with the villa. Rooms are of right size and well equipped. This is a convenient place for car-renting, peace-loving tourists. It is 5 km form Polis so very few people come to the beach (80 metres from the villa) and shopping is easy and convenient with well-supplied supermarket in town. Copy/paste the following into Google Maps search to see the satellite view of the villa:35.076971,32.482278 .

We specially recommend the place for families with small kids. The paddling pool was THE beloved place for our 3yr old grandson - a safe place for various water games (do not forget to buy a light-weight fishing net!). There was a nice toy box provided by the landlord and a small, but still nice playground just in front of the villa.

The nearby beach is a mix of dark sand and pebbles. A committed grandfather is able to clean a 2 sqr meters area of pebbles and create a great place for sandcastle works.

For grown-ups a true treat: a reliable Wi-Fi giving unlimited access to the Internet

Please note that the early September weather in Cyprus is just great, sea is warm, the sunlight last from 7am till 8pm, evenings are nicely warm.

Best regards

Hi Irene,

Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you!

We had a wonderful holiday at the Argaka Beach villa. The villa was superb, immaculately clean and had everything that we could possibly need. The welcome pack was a godsend as did not have a car initially. The swimming pool was a great size and the kids (and ourselves) used it every day. Great fun! The pool table/ table tennis table was also a hit with the kids. We appreciated the information folder provided and tried a few of the recommended restaurants – the Baths of Aphrodite taverna was a particular highlight with its fabulous views of the Chrysochou Bay and very good value fish meze, (so much food)! We must also mention one of the local restaurants to the villa – the Santa Barbara. The waiters were particularly friendly and the food consistently good. The fact that the taverna is right on the beach and you can sit watching the sun sinking below the horizon whilst sipping a glass of wine, and be within walking distance to the villa was fantastic!

We would have no hesitation in recommending Sundance Villas to anybody. The representative in Cyprus, Tanya, was polite, efficient and friendly and helped us get out of a sticky patch when we were let down by our car hire company, arranging for a local company to deliver a suitable vehicle ASAP.

Thanks so much to all at SundanceVillas for ensuring that our holiday went as smoothly as possible,

Kindest regards,

Nicola, Andrew, George and Charlotte S

Hello Irene

On behalf of all of us I'd like to say thank you for a wonderful holiday in Cyprus.

Apart from our 6 hour delay at Manchester which resulted in losing half a day in Cyprus, we cannot fault our holiday. The communication between Tanya (Rep) and also Cy Breeze was brilliant. We picked up the car with no problems at all. When we arrived at our villa it was very late and dark. Excellent directions!

The villa was perfect, the rooms, the pool etc. were immaculate. We were able to walk to Liza's Place and Saint Barbara Tavernas. Our 2 girls were very taken with Liza's father and bought him a small gift on our last night. He appeared genuinely pleased and wouldn't let them go without lots of sweets! The Greek dancing in Polis was great fun!

The area was beautiful but you need a car to appreciate it fully. It is perfect for families who would be mainly based at the villa due to the distance to a lot of the areas/attractions.....the beach being in its natural state (we assumed for the turtles)... the sea was amazingly warm there.

We would definitely recommend the boat hire at Latchi, you need at least 4 hrs to fully appreciate it and I was grateful that my partner knew a little about boats! There was a lot to take in at the briefing.

We would absolutely use Sundance Villas in the future. Everything from the booking process, emails, questions answered, reps, villa owner and Cy Breeze made our holiday what it was..Perfect!

Many thanks Irene

Dear Irene

We have just returned from a lovely easy going week in the above villa.. Everything was great from arrival, car hire, the villa itself etc etc

We contacted Nicole on arrival and we let her know we did not need an "arrival visit". She did pop in later in the week as she was coming over to Polis.

From both our brief meeting with her and her speedy and pleasant response to our initial text we had every confidence that if we had had any issues she would sort them out in a very efficient matter.

Thanks again

Regards Jo Ryman

Dear Irene,

We had a wonderful stay at the Argaka villa, the house had everything we needed and more.

We especially enjoyed the pool, the pool-table and the nice terrace/ balcony.

The food hamper was there and it was nice not to have to go out finding a supermarket straight after we arrived.

Of Cyprus we best liked the Aphrodite trail - at this time of the year it was wonderful to see all the spring plants.

We also liked Lefkosia, especially the northern part with nice garden restaurants.

Nicole was very nice and helpful, she sent us an SMS with a tour offering, we couldn't go but it sounded nice.

Our landlord was also very nice and helpful.

Thank you very much!

Have a nice week - kind regards - Tanja Strecker-von Kannen

Hi Irene

I would just like to mention what a fabulous time my mum and I had whilst staying at Argaka Sands. This is my 4th time I've been to Argaka for my holiday over the past 5 years and this villa, by far, beats them all! The villa was beautiful and of a luxury standard, everything was brand new just as you said it would be. We had such a lovely time that my mum wants to return next year as this was her 1st time to Cyprus and was so impressed.

We ate several times at Saint Barbara (Ayia Varvara), a taverna on the beach, and it's only a few minutes walk from the villa. The food is outstanding and very reasonable. The fillet steak was so tender and the sea bass is so fresh and cooked perfectly. Would recommend this place to everyone!

Once again thanks very much for the rental of the villa

Dear Irene

We can say, hand on heart, that the villa measured up fully to our hopes and expectations. Everything that was needed was there and the property was spotless.

We were very lucky with hot weather for November, most days being around 25c but with a cooling breeze to be found at some point around the property....We love Cyprus and the fact that they also drive on the left is a big plus factor! We will have no hesitation in booking with Sundance Villas again, as will Julie, my wife's carer, who has also had previous enjoyable holidays with Sundance Villas.

Hi Irene

Our time in Cyprus was great. The weather was warm and sunny most days but we hired a car on the rainy day and travelled around the west coast. We enjoyed eating out ...spent most of our time at the villa. Having the pool was fab for our teenage daughter and we used it most days. All in all it was most enjoyable and highly recommended.

Kind regards

Hi Irene

Sorry for the delay in replying, I had a hectic few days before returning to work in Saudi.

We had a great time thank you, which was helped by the good weather we had. We were a little pesimistic as to how warm it would be and whether the children and myself would take full advantage of the pool, but we did most days.

The villa was just right for us, an ideal size with all the amenities we could have wanted. There were plenty of towels, it was all very clean and tidy and in an ideal location. Anyone visiting Cyprus will soon see for themselves what a lovely place it is.

Thanks for all your help, guidance and kind emails, hopefully we'll be in touch one day in the future for another visit.

Simon & Shauna.

Dear Irene,

We had a wonderful stay in Cyprus. The villa was very spacious and was situated in a lovely little village with nice restaurants.

The village was right in the middle of the wine-area and close to nice things to see and do. The villa had everything we needed. I would recommend the Troodos Mountains to other visitors. Beautiful region!

The representative (Nicole) was helpful for questions about the villa. She was very helpful with our question to check out a little bit later, so I would like to thank her for that.

I would surely recommend Sundance Villas, as a matter of fact we already did!

Kind regards Natasja Hoex

Dear Irene

The villa was perfect for our needs and we felt relaxed and comfortable as soon as we got there and saw the amazing view. ...the hectic lifestyle in England was forgotten temporarily.

The only small problem we had was a power cut which was fixed within minutes of us contacting Dimitri.

This was our second booking with Sundance Villas and we look forward to using your efficient and personal service again in the not too distant future. We would have missed such a lot of the best bits if it wasn't for yours and other client recommendations.

Thanks for all your help

Kind regards

Dear Irene

What a wonderful week, the villa was fantastic ! I would have no hesitation recommending it to any of our friends

What beautiful sunsets we saw sitting by the pool in very peaceful surroundings (very close to heaven)

We have to thank yourself and Nicole for all your help in making our holiday special

It was great having a contact who gave us so much local information and we both felt you all went one step further to make sure everything was to our satisfaction

Even the owner of the villa phoned Nicole when she was with us to make sure all was ok

Many thanks

Hi Irene

Thank you very much for a very successful holiday. The villa was exactly as described and well placed for us – close to supermarket and good restaurants. Your attention to detail is excellent and your support in answering all questions much appreciated. We hired Steve's taxi to and from the airport which worked smoothly and were very happy with the hire car from Cy-Breeze. The pool was larger than I expected (a pleasant surprise) and the weather glorious at the beginning of October. We will certainly be using you again – having confidence in your support and organisation. Kay Patrick

The Paphos region

Polis is situated to the North West of Cyprus. The Akamas Peninsula lies to the West and it is a 30 minute drive from Paphos.

Polis caters well for independent travellers and is well known for its nature, and those keen on active holidays including cycling, hiking, horse riding, scuba diving and golf.

Polis is rich in history, dating back 3000 years. It was built on the ancient cities of Marion-Arsinoe. Over the past 20 years many artefacts have been unearthed including statues, jewellery and decorated pottery which is displayed in the local museum which opened in 1998.

The Akamas peninsula nearby covers about 230 square km and is located on the western tip of Cyprus. Protected as an area of outstanding natural beauty, it is the perfect location to enjoy outdoor activities such as cycling and hiking.

A major characteristic of this peninsula is its beaches. Akamas is the only large unspoiled coastal area remaining in Cyprus.

The Baths of Aphrodite are just along the coast from Latchi. According to myth, the goddess Aphrodite used to bathe in the pool of the nearby grotto which is shaded by a fig tree and has a continuous run of water from the overhead rocks. The baths are considered a source of fertility, and even now young Cypriot women go there early to avoid the guard, to bathe in the water.

Polis

Polis is situated to the North West of Cyprus. The Akamas Peninsula lies to the West and it is a 30 minute drive from Paphos.

Polis caters well for independent travellers and is well known for its nature, and those keen on active holidays including cycling, hiking, horse riding, scuba diving and golf.

A stunning unspoilt resort, dotted with citrus groves and beautiful turquoise waters, it is the least developed beach resort in the South of Cyprus. Varied landscapes are to be found here including rocky mountains, meadows and forests. Polis faces across Chrysochou Bay to the Akamas Peninsula where many hiking trails can be found.

The town is partly pedestrianised and has a laid back feel to it. You can find international food as well as excellent traditional tavernas, (we will send you information on Eating Out etc).

Polis is rich in history, dating back 3000 years. It was built on the ancient cities of Marion-Arsinoe. Over the past 20 years many artefacts have been unearthed including statues, jewellery and decorated pottery which is displayed in the local museum which opened in 1998.

The local beach is at Polis Chrysochous Camp site, the only location in Cyprus where a eucalyptus forest meets the coast. The sandy beach is about half a mile walk into the town of Polis or alternatively there is a flat coastal walk way to the neighbouring resort of Latchi.

Facilities at the beach include showers, toilets, washing facilities, beach volley ball court and a snack bar.

Latchi is a picturesque fishing village which stretches 3km along the North West coast of the Island and lies on the edge of the beautiful Akamas National Park. The pretty harbour offers a number of excellent fresh fish tavernas that have turned out to be famous across the Island.

The coastal road separates the clear blue sea, pretty shoreline and local amenities from the surrounding lush green countryside. At the harbour, sit back and enjoy a seafood meal in one of the harbour side tavernas and watch the boats come and go.

There are several beaches in Latchi which are perfect for swimming. They are covered with fine sand. Sunbeds and parasols are available to hire.

Latchi is the perfect resort for water sports as it has such clean sea water. You will find windsurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, surfing, water-skiing, jet-skiing, parasailing, sailing and fishing here. There are also plenty of boat trips to choose from. Latchi is home to beautiful scenery and nature, making it perfect for trekking and there are plenty of organised nature walks for you to enjoy.

The baths are considered a source of fertility, and even now young Cypriot women go there early to avoid the guard, to bathe in the water.

APHRODITE TRAIL

The Aphrodite trail is considered one of the most beautiful walks in Cyprus, stretching 8km along the Akamas. The Akamas, an unspoilt stretch of coastline is an area of outstanding natural beauty and has been protected as such. The trail follows the route described in Greek mythology used by Aphrodite and her lover Adonis.

The trail begins at the Baths of Aphrodite which is a very popular tourist spot on the island. (The Baths of Aphrodite Fish Tavern here is a favourite with our clients.) From here the route ascends towards the 860 year old ancient oak tree, believed to be Aphrodite mythical lovers' nest. Other highlights of the trail include stunning views of the blue lagoons from the high point at Moutti tis Sotiras. We highly recommend the boat trip from Latchi to see all of this, (especially if it is too hot to walk) it is stunningly beautiful and you get the change to swim in the clear turquoise sea too!

In Spring time you can expect to see colourful displays of wild flowers, although you are forbidden to pick them. There are many shrubs such as carob, olives, strawberry trees and mastic. Your senses will also be treated to a heady cocktail of scents such as wild thyme, rosemary, pine and juniper berries.

This trail gives you a true sense of hiking in an unspoilt paradise. On the way back you can stop and buy brightly coloured dragon fruit. (No sign, just look for the fruit and stop).

Trail maps can be obtained from the tourist information office in Polis

"Most relaxing villa holiday we ever had"

Dear Irene, even if we are late, we wanted to thank you very much for the wonderful time we had at Argaka beach last June. The villa was really great. We enjoyed the quiet location and the sound of th… More

"Excellent choice"

We spent 2 weeks in Argaka Shore villa. It was an excellent choice. Villa is beautiful, very spacious, very well eqiupped. On the area there is a large private pool with a kid`s pool and a garden with big barbecue. Warm Mediterranean sea shore is at the hand...

Contact with Irene and Michael was friendly and immediate. Thanks for help in every problems. We could definately recommend this solution instead of hiring hotel room to everyone who goes in group larger than 2-3 persons (we were grup of 5) and is looking for comfort and privacy.

"Perfect in every way!"

Argaka Villa was lovely, it had everything we needed. We used the pool everyday. The girls adored it. Villa was spacious, exceptionly clean. Our rep & the owner were so helpful. Cy Breeze car rental were equally helpful. Booking both the villa & car were faultless. We were in walking distance to Liza"s Place & Saint Barbara tavernas. Both were very reasonable. Staff were great & the food portions were amazing. At Liza"s Place you didn"t leave without fruit given to you! You need the car to explore the island but you could easily stay at the villa if you had young children. We will use Sundance Villas again when we return to Cyprus.

"Argaka Beach Villa met all expectations and more"

This was our first visit to Cyprus we were going to a wedding which was taking place at Paphos harbour. We could find no fault with this villa we all enjoyed our stay here. All bedrooms en suite with high quality fittings, the upper bedrooms had great views, nice balcony seating areas and the bedrooms had more than enough wardrobe/drawer space .Really nice lounge/dining/kitchen areas downstairs equipped with everything to make your stay extremely comfortable, not only equipped with flat screen tv/cd player, games, books etc but also children's toys which our grandaughter aged 18 months made full use of. Excellent size pool with separate children's pool, BBQ and nice quality outdoor dining furniture, a truly lovely villa. There are 2 local tavernas which you can walk to, however, there are numerous tavernas in Polis should you wish to drive to them and Latchi is also lovely , our accommodation was so nice we really made good use of the facilities here. We would not hesitate to recommend this and we fully intend to return
