The Grand-Baie region

Grand Baie is situated on the north western coastline of Mauritius. beautiful beaches, emerald waters and a deep sheltered bay. the main tourist centre. The town has everything for the tourist, from trendy boutiques to craft shops. There are a plenty of restaurants, night-clubs and discotheques. Accommodation varies from Hotels to self-catering bungalows. It is now the main centre for yachting, water-skiing, wind surfing and other water sports.

Pointe Aux Canonniers area

Ointe aux Canonniers - Stretching from the well-known Choisy beach to Grand Bay is Pointe aux Canonniers, well-known by regular visitors to Club Med. While sea-bathing is not fabulous owing to shallow water the inviting Mont Choisy bay is only a few minutes walk away with its turquoise lagoon and gentle waves lapping the shore. The Club Med allows non-resident tourists to take advantage of its restaurants, bar and evening shows against modest fees, and if you prefer the bustle of Grand Bay and its numerous restaurants, duty-free shops and its festive atmosphere it is less than a kilometre away.

Henrik Stabell: Twin towers more than met our expectations. The villa was even nicer than it seemed from the advertisement and we found Pereybere to be perfect for us. It is a small town that has everything you need and it is not not crowded. Very relaxing and pleasant place to stay, but with plenty of activities if you feel up to it. The public beach is great and very clean, but there is also another beach with almost no people where you can relax all day. Both are only 300m from the villa. The garden of the villa is fabulous and we had lots of pretty birds visiting us daily. There's a good supermarket 150m down the road and a great restaurant across the street. The people taking care of the villa and garden, Dani and Sam, are fabulous and made sure we were comfortable at all times and made our stay even better. Mr Ikbal was all smiles also and made sure we were picked at the airport and delivered at the end of our stay, as well as making sure we were comfortable at Twin Towers. It is a great villa with plenty of space and the garden gives the place great atmosphere."

Dr J.Wallner: Pereybere has one of the best beaches on the island - especially for families with kids - and the Twin Towers probably belong to the best bungalows in town. Ikbal, Dani and Sam do all they can to make the stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible - thanks a lot once more, we can really recommend that to everyone searching for relaxed holidays on Mauritius
