About the home

Villa Naima is registered with the Mauritian Tourism Authority (licence no. 07363). It provides ideal accommodation for families or a group of friends sharing. There are at least a dozen restaurants and bars within 5 minutes walk of the house.
The house is tiled throughout and has a large open veranda leading to a patio surrounded swimming pool. It has a large garden and driveway/parking area. It has a fully fitted kitchen, with granite countertops and natural oak finished cupboards. The bedrooms are all double and have fitted natural oak wardrobes.
The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and there is a shared bathroom for the other bedrooms. There is also a shower room and separate toilet downstairs. The house is otherwise fully furnished, including satellite tv, internet connection, dvd and audio system. There is an alarm system installed and all the sliding glass doors and windows have openable louvre shutters.
Maid service is provided and we can also provide bicycles, airport transfer, assistance with car hire and advice on local amenities. We will also do our utmost to fulfil any special requirements you may have.

The Mauritius North Coast/Grand Baie region

The climate in Mauritius is warm to hot throughout the year, the summer period being from November to May. During Winter the daytime temperatures ar around 25 - 26C and nighttime temperatures rarely below 19C. Grand Baie, itself, is a beautiful inlet of the Indian ocean and combines local life with tourist facilities in a harmonious mix.

The Pointe Aux Canonniers area

Pointe Aux Canonniers is about 2 km from Grand Baie which is the tourist centre in the North of Mauritius, with restaurants, night clubs, water sports, fishing and boat trips. There are also around a dozen restaurants and bars within 5 mins walk of the accommodation along with one of the main night clubs in the north of the island.

Flights arrive at SSR airport about 70km from Pointe aux Canonniers/Grand Baie. Taxi/minibuses are available at approximately 50 Euros or we can provide airport transfers. Car hire is available at around 20-35 Euros per day. There are regular buses that stop within 2 mins walk of the house and are useful for travel in the local region.

We will hold the reservation for a period of 10 days until we receive the deposit at which time we will show the reserved dates as confirmed.
