About the home
Agriturismo Vernianello is a small farm with a homely atmosphere, set in the heart of the Chianti hills, surrounded by forests, vineyards and olive groves.
Ideal for those who want to relax and admire the wonderful panorama view, in a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere enjoying home-produced wine and tasting typical rustic Tuscan dishes, prepared with passion , recipes handed down the generations.
The following amenities are at the disposition of our guests. An outdoor swimming pool (12x5mt; open from April till October), a large sun terrace, a terrace with a panoramic view, a 3000 m² garden and a relaxing area where one can sit in the shade of the pines and read a book swinging in a hammock.
Children are welcome and to their entertainment (and for the adults too) there are: table-tennis, table-football, mountain bikes, playground, mini-football pitch/badminton court, air hockey, tam-tam, bocce court, basket, table games and more more.

Our farmhouse has 4 apartments ( Scoiattolo, Riccio, Volpe and Istrice).
Each apartment has a private entry and a private area outside furnished with sunloungers, sun umbrella , table and chairs . There are moreover 2 sunloungers and a chair reserved at the swimming pool.
The owners are always onsite , available to help you for any need.

There are many common areas for the guests: a terrace with a view, a solarium terrace, swimming pool area, relax area, garden with playground for children.
Many entertainments for the the younger guests . They can play and walk around without problem, because the farmhouse is surrounded by 12 private hectars.
To disposition of our guests there is the restaurant with only tuscany products ( closed on Sunday)

before the arrival, it will be demanded a penal par to 50% of the due amount

Share videoThe Tuscany / Siena Province region
Tuscany is a region of central North Italy and its territory is mostly hilly. The Chief Town is Florence, a city rich in history and important artistic treasures. Some of the wonders to admire: Palazzo Pitti, the Duomo with the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower, Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery.
The other provinces are rich in history and monuments too. In Siena you can see the Palazzo delle Papesse, the Piccolomini Library and the Palio; in Arezzo is the Church of San Francesco, built by Piero della Francesca; in Pisa is not to lose the Leaning Tower and the Baptistery, and then still much to discover in Grosseto, Livorno, Lucca, Pistoia, Massa Carrara and Prato.
The climate is Mediterranean with hot summers and winters not too cold and with different characteristics from zone to zone (coastal, inland, hill, mountain)
The Poggibonsi / Cedda area
Near Poggibonsi there are many interesting places to visit rich in history and charm: San Gimignano with its ancient towers, Colle Val d'Elsa, Certaldo with the Praetorian Palace and the house of the writer Giovanni Boccaccio, Volterra, Monteriggioni, Castellina in Chianti and Radda, and many other small towns really typical.

From the motorway A1: take the Firenze-Certosa exit in the direction of
Siena; take the Poggibonsi Nord exit and then follow the

continue for 500 mts and you will see two stone columns on the
right and... a sign-board "Agriturismo Vernianello"

If you are coming from Siena:
take the Siena-Florence superhighway and exit at Poggibonsi (the
first exit) then follow the signs for Castellina in
Chianti; after

We spent a week in an apartment on this property. The place is very quiet and relaxing and the view is stunning. The apartment has a private patio overlooking a small valley and this patio was our living room: every night we settled there with a glass of chianti and a plate of antipasti and we watched the sun set. There were families ther with children, who seemed to enjoy lots of room to play. The apartment is comfortable, with a basic kitchen. We did very well ther for breakfast and simple home cooked suppers. |
