This old water mill has been beautifully restored and furnished in contemporary style to make a remarkable holiday residence. Situated in quiet countryside not far from the local town of Auray, which has one of the best local markets, and also has a preserved 15th century port, where today you can while away the evening on one of the many bars and restaurants. The coast around Carnac, one of the best known south brittany resorts, is a short drive away. A great holiday location.

This stunning mill conversion has been created as two totally independant halves (Gauche and Droit) which can be separately rented, except in high season.

Droit- the right hand part. Interconnecting door or separate entrance with steps down to open plan living area, with glass panel giving a view of the old mill workings! Comfortable seating, wide screen TV, DVD, internet access, dining furniture. Open sided open tread stairs to mezzanine with seating area and two single beds. Shower and hand basin. Separate WC. Double bedroom with ensuite bath room with bath and shower, hand basin. Separate WC. Steps up to triple bedroom with double and single beds.(max 6 occupancy)
Large open grounds bordering the river and mill stream(safety equipment), summer house with terrace area with BBQ. Outdoor furniture and sunloungers.

What a fabulous conversion, there are two interlinking parts, or you can rent each separately. A very elegant interior and large grounds surrounding the river. Tucked away but easy access to Carnac for the beach and Auray for one of the best local markets on Mondays.
