The Brittany / Cotes-D'Armor region
The Cotes d'Armor is a beautiful unspoilt area of France with lovely towns and villages, stunning coastlines and unspoilt walking paths and beaches all the way around the peninsular. Famous for its simple and delicious seafood and "crepes" (pancakes), all types of French food are available in numerous restaurants. The ports of Paimpol, St Quay Portrieux, Treguier and Lezardrieux are all close by. You will also find golf courses and beach sports within short driving distance. Every day there is a market somewhere locally and the Bretons are extremely friendly.
The region has many tourist attractions, natural beauty spots and sporting activities on offer.
The Plougrescant area
Situated in northern Brittany, at the tip of a peninsula, 7 km north of Tréguier, between Paimpol and Perros Guirrec on the beautiful Pink Granit coast. Places to see: Château de La Roche-Jagu, the gardens of Kerdalo, Paimpol/Bréhat, Perros-Guirrec, Saint-Quay-Portrieux, Binic, the cliffs at Plouha, the "Maison du littoral" (the house between the rocks) in Plougrescant itself, the Seven Islands...
