"Lovely views, great location"
Owners arranged to collect us from previous week's holiday base and arranged taxi for airport at end of stay. This helpful attitude was in evidence all through our stay. Andrew, who cleaned the pool every day, brought us fresh fish for the barbeque. He had also put a welcome starter pack in the fridge with milk, beer etc to get us going despite the fact that there is a shop within 5 minutes walk of the house.
The views from the terrace were fantastic, and the pool was a lovely (and rare) feature of the garden. The cost of the views is the 194 steps up the lane from the old town - not a problem to our teenagers, but worth considering. On the flip side, this was the first family holiday where we didn't need a car!
Dubrovnik felt like a friendly and safe place - our teenagers often went off exploring on their own. English is spoken well everywhere and the list of potential activities is so long that we need to go back.
Villa Roza is very well equipped with aircon to all but one room and wifi that works - we managed to stream some live football. It was also very clean on our arrival with good bed linen and plenty of towels.
