Brittany is famed for its fresh seafood, stunning coastlines and peaceful tranquility. From this spot on the spur of North West France you can explore the history, the culture and the cuisine of this beautiful region.

The historic towns of Dinan and Dinard are less than 20 minutes away, and the port of Cancale, famous for its oysters and a haven of fine seafood restaurants is also not more than half an hour in the car.

There’s also plenty to do for youngsters: the aquarium is nearby, as well as St Malo’s reptilarium.

"An enjoyable holiday in Brittany."

Sitting in the lounge of Le Petit Verger and watching the sun set over the Rance estuary is a memory I will treasure. This house is comfortable well equipped with excellent amenities { a sky English television package }. Spaces for parking, our grandchildren to play safely and for us to relax. It is peaceful  but not an isolated residence. There is a restaurant in the village{La Cale de Mordreuc}. Also in the village is a small family beach, very safe and very clean with its own resident seal, we enjoyed walking along, in both directions along the banks of the Rance , using the two bicycles in the cellars we enjoyed rides around the local hamlets discovering a small farm shop selling fresh veggies , fruit and wine. Going out in our car it was an easy drive to visit St Malo its old city and its wonderful beaches and to explore the historic walled city of Dinan. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday, we have spent three happy holidays here before and intend coming back next year. Before finishing this review, two things to mention, we visited the festival du ble {festival of wheat} a festival of music and local artisan skills approx 12 august, it’s a must if you are there at that time, and across the river is Ploer sur Rance an excellent reasonably priced restaurant excellent steak {yummy} we would often drive around there for lunch.
