The Western Cape region
As a province of South Africa, the Western Cape is recognized as one of the most beautiful places on earth and draws thousands of visitors both local and international each year. Plettenberg Bay boasts a glorious temperate climate all year round. with Summers that are pleasantly warm with low humidity while winters are particularly mild. Spring starts by September and high Summer begins from November until March. The temperatures start to cool from April although it is still pleasant until June. July and August are Plettenberg Bays winter months with bright warm days.
The Tsitsikama Forest, Storms River, Natures Valley and Knysna are easily accessible for day trips from Plettenberg Bay each offering a unique experience to the visitor.

There are plenty of sporting and leisure activities in the surrounding area that includes Plettenberg Bay's miles of unspoilt beaches, land and boat based whale and dolphins watching, spectacular walks and hikes, mountain biking, absailing and many magnificent spellbinding country meanders. Visit the elephant Sanctuary, Monkeyland or you could just rest and relax on the terrace and enjoy the stunning views from your holiday home.
Extreme sport activities abound for adrenaline junkies with a host of world-renowned land, air and water extreme activities such as the world's highest bungee jump from Bloukrans Bridge at 216M, or day trips to shark diving facilties.
Plettenberg Bay and the surrounding areas are filled with signature golf courses such as Goose Valley, Pezula, Fancourt and some of the lesser known but still challenging and beautiful courses such as Plettenberg Bay ,, Knysna and George Country Clubs and Simola Golf Course, a dream area for any golfing enthusiast.
The village centre and its surrounds are filled with galleries, studios and interesting shops where local artists, craft makers and distillers sell their wares. How to get there
Plettenberg Bay is accessed from George (90kms), Port Elizabeth (260kms) or Cape Town (570kms). These destinations are serviced by major airlines, South African airways, British Airways with Kalula and 1 Time being the domestic flights from OR Tambo International based in Johannesburg.
International flights to South Africa are generally overnight and while the majority of international flights are to Johannesburg more airlines are offering flights directly to Cape Town International.
While shuttle services are available between George and Plettenberg Bay, Car hire is recommended if you wish to explore the greater Plettenberg Bay and Garden Route. The drive from George(the nearest domestic airport) to Plettenberg Bay takes approximately 1.5 hours. Port Elizabeth to Plettenberg Bay takes approximately 2.5 hours and from Cape Town the drive is approximately 6 hours.
The drive to Plettenberg Bay is through some of the most scenic landscape in the country with breath taking mountain, ocean and forest views.
The N2 is the national road linking Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape to Cape Town in the Western Cape. From Cape town and George take the N2 towards Port Elizabeth. When you reach the Plettenberg Bay turnoff, go around the traffic circle and take the third exit. Pass the Shell garage on your left hand side. next traffic circle turn left into Challenge Drive follow the road until you reach a T-Junction. Turn right into Bowtie Drive and look for number 31 on the right hand side approximately 250 meters from the T-Junction.

Further details indoors: All bedrooms have fitted carpets. 1 en suite bathroom has a shower only with basin and fitted vanity slab, The second bathroom has bath, separate shower and basin with vanity slab. The main en suite bathroom is fitted with a double basin, vanity slab, separate shower and spa bath. A separate dressing room filled with ample wardrobe and storage space. All bathrooms are fitted with towel heaters.
All bedrooms have high quality Percale linen.
An assortment of beach towels are available. All finishings and fittings are of the highest quality.
The property has been built to a very high standard with tiled floors throughout the living areas, which are covered with exquisite Persian Carpets. hand picked art pieces complete the home. Open gas fireplace, hand woven rattan lounge suite and an 8-seater Yellowood dining table, allows for leisure meals and evenings.
The kitchen is fitted with wall to ceiling cupboards and quality tops with granite cutting boards which will delight any chef. Standard fittings include fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, tumble dryer, washing machine and a four-plate gas stove and oven. Quality cultlery and crockery as well as other kitchen utensils are supplied as standard equipment.
Cleaning service is standard from Monday to Friday and is inclusive in the daily / weekly rates. Cleaning service on Saturday is available on request however a surcharge will apply.
Further details outdoors: This modern well built home is an example of fine craftsmanship. The garden surrounded with shrubberies and filled with an array of indigenous plants. The Terrace boosts a panoramic view of the lagoon, Indian Ocean and mountains and has a beautiful Yellowood table, rattan bench and two single rattan chairs.

The ground floor apartment is used by the owners as a holiday home. Therefore there will be occasions when the garden, pool and garage is shared with the owners of the property.
Conditions
Strictly no smoking except on terrace.
Refundable breakage deposit GBP 1000 is required on arrival to be refunded within two weeks of your departure. Breakages and damage caused during their stay including but not restricted to the value of the breakage deposit.(subject to satisfactory property inspection). Customers should leave the accommodation as they found it in a tidy and orderly fashion.
A 50% deposit will be required to secure all bookings and the balance of payment must be received by us at least 4 weeks prior to arrival.
The property is not suitable for children under 12.
Reservations will be confirmed on receipt of deposit.
